Trey Sermon gets carted off against the Vikings.

Sermon was hurt covering a punt, and it appeared to be a lower leg injury. He’s now getting carted to the locker room. It’s been a tough rookie season for Sermon, who has looked good in limited action but has basically been out of the rotation all year. Hopefully this isn’t too serious.

Randall Cobb (groin) is out for the rest of today.

Cobb had a huge first half but was battling through a groin issue, and now his day is done as the second half gets underway. Before leaving the Week 12 matchup against the Rams, Cobb had four receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Christian McCaffrey is wearing a walking boot.

McCaffrey left today’s game with an ankle injury, but hopefully this walking boot is just a precaution. The superstar running back has dealt with a bunch of injuries over the past couple of years. The bye week for the Panthers is coming up in Week 13, so hopefully McCaffrey doesn’t miss any future games with this ankle issue. More information should become available in the next day or so.

Elijah Mitchell (finger) is officially active for Week 12.

Mitchell is back after missing just one game following finger surgery, and the rookie running back is set to lead the 49ers backfield today against the Vikings.

Aaron Jones (knee) is officially active for Week 12.

Jones sprained his MCL just two weeks ago, but he’s already back in the lineup for the Packers after missing one game. The star running back will likely be more limited than usual, but he should still be a solid play in fantasy lineups.

Dan Arnold (knee) is out for the rest of today.

Arnold had one reception for nine yards before leaving against the Falcons. It’s probably not a great sign that Arnold is being ruled out for the day, but more information on his status should become available within the next couple of days.

Saquon Barkley (ankle) is officially active for Week 12.

Barkley might not be quite at 100% yet given the questionable tags he’s still receiving, but he’s active against the Eagles for his second consecutive game. We’ll see what type of workload Barkley gets after the Giants fired offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.
