Join now >Melvin Gordon is officially active for the Chargers.
Gordon will reportedly only be used in an emergency situation, so he’s difficult to trust in Week 4 fantasy lineups. However, it would not be a huge surprise if Gordon is used down at the goal line if the game is close against Miami. Overall, Austin Ekeler remains an RB1 option, while Gordon should resume being a great RB1 in Week 5 and beyond.

Julian Edelman (chest) is officially active for Week 4.
There was some concern about Edelman’s status, but it felt like he was expected to play after being listed as questionable on Friday. The Bills are a top defense, but Edelman remains a strong fantasy option catching passes from Tom Brady in one of the league’s best offenses.

Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Giants.
McLaurin was a late addition to the injury report this week, but it seemed like he would still play, so this may catch some fantasy owners by surprise. Hopefully you have another option that can be put into your lineup, but if not, Paul Richardson should get a big boost as a potential FLEX play against the Giants’ shaky secondary. Even if he is in the lineup for Week 5, McLaurin won’t be a recommended fantasy option with the Patriots coming to town.

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 4.
There was hope that Singletary would be able to play in a big matchup against the Patriots after practicing on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday, but he’ll miss his second consecutive game. Frank Gore will handle most of the backfield work versus the elite Patriots defense today.

The Chargers officially activated Melvin Gordon.
Things were trending in this direction after Justin Jackson was ruled out for tomorrow with a calf injury, and it looks like the star running back will make his 2019 debut against the Dolphins. Austin Ekeler is expected to lead the Chargers backfield while Gordon gets back into the swing of things after just reporting to the team on Thursday, but Gordon could be the preferred option by the goal line as one of the league’s top touchdown-makers over the last few years. Gordon is on the FLEX radar for Week 4, and you’ll likely have to take him off your injured reserve spot if you want to make any other pickups today or tomorrow morning.
9/28/19 - 04:17 PM ET
Vance McDonald (shoulder) is officially listed as doubtful for Monday night.
The Steelers are hoping McDonald might be able to make a push to play against the Bengals, but it’s unlikely. The recently acquired Nick Vannett is set for a big role at tight end for Pittsburgh in his first game with the team.

Rashaad Penny (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 4.
Penny is likely headed for a gametime call for Seattle this Sunday at Arizona. The second-year back will be in the FLEX mix if he plays, but the Seahawks play in the later slate of games, which could put fantasy owners in a predicament if they’re hoping to use him in lineups.
