Join now >James Conner (knee) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.
Conner didn’t practice yesterday, but he said he would be playing on Sunday. This full practice confirms he’ll be ready to go against the 49ers. Consider Conner more of a low-end RB1 right now until we see how the Steelers offense operates with a full game of Mason Rudolph under center. Pittsburgh might rely more on Conner and the running game with their future Hall of Fame quarterback out of the lineup.

The Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown.
On Twitter, Brown tweeted: “Thank you for the opportunity @Patriots #GoWinIt”, signaling his release from the team. That was quick, and the Patriots today hinted at this potentially happening—Bill Belichick hinted something might be coming, while Tom Brady did not mention Brown’s name despite being asked multiple questions about him. The Patriots have clearly decided they don’t want to deal with Brown’s off-field issues that have become magnified in the past week, and now it’s difficult to see where the former All-Pro receiver lands, at least until his legal situation is sorted out. We would still hold Brown if he’s on your roster considering the draft pick it took to get him, but it’s understandable if you want to cut bait. AB played one game and had 56 yards and a touchdown for New England

Trevor Siemian (ankle) is out for the season.
This isn’t surprising after the ugly ankle injury suffered last night on a late hit by Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. With Sam Darnold battling mono and likely to miss at least a few more weeks, the Jets are currently down to 2018 sixth-round pick Luke Falk as their only quarterback on the roster. They’ll obviously be bringing in another quarterback, potentially one to push Falk for the starting job. But Falk should be the starter for now, as he understands and is comfortable with the offense at least. Siemian should be at 100% for next season, and we wish him luck on his recovery.

Julian Edelman (chest) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Getting any sort of participation is a good sign for Edelman’s status, and it would be a shock if he wasn’t out there on Sunday in a matchup against the 3-0 Bills. The former Super Bowl MVP should mostly avoid Tre’Davious White’s coverage, so he will remain a WR2 play.
9/25/19 - 04:03 PM ET
LeSean McCoy (ankle) was officially limited in today’s practice.
McCoy is likely to play this Sunday against the Ravens, and it looks like he’ll be the starter and could get more work than usual with Damien Williams (knee) looking to be on the doubtful side of things. We’ll update you with McCoy’s official game status for Week 3 when it’s released tomorrow.
9/19/19 - 05:45 PM ET
Marlon Mack (calf) is officially listed as questionable for Week 3.
Mack missed the previous two days of practice, but he was able to get out there today on a limited basis, giving him a shot to play on Sunday. The third-year running back might be a legitimate gametime call, but the good news is the Colts kickoff in the early games at 1:00 PM ET. Mack’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. If Mack is out, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines would work in a split backfield.
9/20/19 - 03:41 PM ET
The Steelers are signing Paxton Lynch to their practice squad.
Lynch will learn Pittsburgh’s offense, and there’s a chance he eventually works his way into the backup role behind Mason Rudolph at some point this season. The 2016 first-round pick is not on the fantasy radar right now.
