Join now >The Saints have promoted Lil’Jordan Humphrey to the active roster.
New Orleans is banged up at receiver, and Humphrey is now getting an opportunity as an undrafted rookie. Lil’Jordan has an NFL-ready body type and game, so he’s someone to keep an eye on. However, he’s more of a dynasty league option at the moment and does not need to be owned in redraft leagues.

The Lions are releasing Josh Johnson, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Detroit had three quarterbacks on the roster, but they will now go with just David Blough behind Matthew Stafford. Johnson should resurface soon, especially with all the injuries at quarterback through two weeks.

Mark Andrews (foot) is officially listed as questionable for Week 3.
Andrews was limited in practice today, but he’s fully expected to be ready for Sunday’s big game at Arrowhead Stadium. Just be sure to double check that Andrews is active on Sunday morning.

Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially did not practice today.
After two straight missed practices with his hamstring issue, it doesn’t look good for the rookie running back’s Week 3 status. If he doesn’t practice on at least a limited basis tomorrow, the Bills might rule him out ahead of the weekend, as the coaching staff might be against putting a rookie out there on gameday after no practice time during the week. If he’s available in your league, an inactive Singletary would make Frank Gore a plug-and-play option if you’re looking for help in your FLEX spot.

The Colts waived Chad Kelly.
With Kelly’s two-game suspension ending, the Colts had a decision to make at quarterback and presumably did not want to carry three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster at this time. Indy will likely try to get the talented Ole Miss product onto the practice squad, but Kelly will go through waivers first.

The Giants have named Daniel Jones their starting quarterback.
Giants head coach Pat Shurmur hinted yesterday that this might happen, and the team isn’t wasting much time trying to make a switch as they sit at 0-2 after two weeks. Jones, the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft, showed major flashes in the preseason, and he’s a pro-ready player that should be able to immediately operate the offense at a high level. Partly because the Giants are struggling at receiver, Jones isn’t a highly recommended fantasy pickup at the moment; but he’s worth taking a look at as a waiver wire pickup to stash and hope it leads to some magic in 2019. It’s possible Jones entering the lineup gives the team a spark, which would boost the fantasy value of Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram. Jones will make his first start this Sunday against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning was already benched briefly in 2017, but now it’s possible he’s played his last snap for the Giants.

LeSean McCoy (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.
McCoy is dealing with a minor ankle injury and is expected to be ready to go to face the Ravens. With Damien Williams (knee) already ruled out, McCoy is set to start if he’s active. McCoy’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
