Join now >The Ravens signed Nick Boyle to a three-year contract extension, according to multiple reports.
It’s reportedly an $18 million deal with $10 million guaranteed for the 2015 fifth-round pick. Baltimore has a stacked tight-end group that includes two second-year players Hayden Hurst (a first-round pick) and Mark Andrews, but the Ravens wanted to lock him up before he hit unrestricted free agency. Most of Boyle’s contributions will likely come as a blocker for what’ll be a run-heavy team in 2019 and beyond. Boyle isn’t really on the fantasy radar right now.

Derrick Henry is “thrilled” with the Titans promoting Arthur Smith to offensive coordinator.
At NFL Honors over the weekend, Henry said Smith, the team’s tight ends coach from last year, is a guy that he loves, adding: “He has that physical mindset, which I love, and it is what we want to be. I think it was a great decision to make him the offensive coordinator. He’s a great offensive mind. I think he’s going to do a great job.” At Smith’s introductory press conference as the offensive coordinator on Tuesday, he said that Henry is going to be a “big part” of Tennessee’s offense—and it doesn’t sound like he’s just saying that. After the former Heisman Trophy winner was one of the best players in the league down the stretch of last season, with 585 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in the final four games, expect him to actually be close to a full workhorse in 2019.

Jack Doyle had hip surgery.
Colts GM Chris Ballard said that Doyle had surgery on the hip injury that bothered him all throughout last season, and that while he probably won’t do anything during offseason training, they’re “shooting for the start of training camp for him to be back.” Ideally, we’ll see Doyle ready to go for the start of training camp, as it’d be a great sign considering the Colts are unlikely to rush him back—especially because Indy is so deep at tight end. More information on Doyle’s progress should become available sometime this spring or summer.

Nick Foles is officially voiding the $20 million option on his contract, according to multiple reports.
The Eagles let it be known that they were going to pick up the $20 million option, but Foles is now buying his way out of the $20 million deal by paying $2 million back to the Eagles. Now, Foles is set to become an unrestricted free agent unless Philadelphia opts to place the franchise tag on him, which is expected to be what happens. Their cap situation means they would basically have no choice to trade Foles (unless they decide to move forward with him as their quarterback, but they already said Carson Wentz is their guy), which explains the reported reasonable third-round asking price for the former Super Bowl MVP. If the Eagles do tag Foles, hopefully they’d do right by him by getting the “OK” before trading him to another team after he led the team to their first Super Bowl win last year.

The Giants extended a RFA tender to Corey Coleman, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Coleman will remain with the Giants for 2019, as the team liked what they saw from the 2016 first-round pick in eight games with the team. Coleman didn’t get a ton of time on offense with the Giants last season, but he has the talent to carve out more opportunities moving forward. He’s just a dynasty-league hold for now.

Antonio Brown fully denies allegations.
In a statement to ESPN, Brown’s lawyer Darren Heitner stated: “The allegations are baseless and false. It’s unfortunate that the media is trying to use distractions like this and prior stories in an effort to tarnish my client’s name and reputation. We have no further comment.” This comes a few hours after TMZ Sports reported a woman alleged misconduct by Brown last month, which the police reportedly investigated. It’s possible nothing comes of this situation, but it’s certainly worth keeping in mind.

John Elway says the Broncos plan to exercise their team option on Emmanuel Sanders.
It seemed like this was set to happen after new Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said he was hoping Sanders would be a big part of the offense in 2019. The veteran receiver is set to make about $13 million this season, so the Broncos are going to expect a lot out of him when he gets back to 100% from his Achilles tear suffered in December. Sanders will be motivated to get on the field and earn another nice contract after his age-32 campaign in 2019.
