It turns out the toe injury suffered by Claypool late in Monday night’s win over the Bears is relatively serious, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says it’s not a season-ender and that the second-year receiver is considered week-to-week. Claypool might miss some time, but we’ll see how he’s listed on the Week 10 injury report when it’s released on Friday.

The Lions have claimed Josh Reynolds, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Reynolds lands in a great spot catching passes from former teammate Jared Goff, and it’s entirely possible he eventually emerges as the No. 1 wide receiver as a familiar target. Detroit still lacks firepower on the outside, but hopefully this signing helps Goff become more comfortable. Those in deeper leagues can consider picking up Reynolds.

The Broncos have activated Noah Fant from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Fant will be good to go after missing last week’s game, and he should be a TE1 play against the Eagles. The presence of the young tight end will also boost the outlook of Teddy Bridgewater in a plus matchup.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) has been designated to return.
Edwards-Helaire has started practicing for the Chiefs, which activates his 21-day window during which he can practice while remaining on injured reserve. CEH has missed the past four games with his knee injury, but appears to be nearing a return.

The Seahawks designated Chris Carson (neck) to return from injured reserve.
This was fully expected after Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that Carson was expected to return to practice today. Now we have to hope the neck issue remains OK to the point that Carson can return to the lineup for this Sunday’ Week 10 matchup against the Packers. Carson will not be listed on the injury report until he’s activated, so we’ll have to wait for word from him and/or Carroll to get a glimpse on his game status.

The Jets will start Mike White in Week 10.
White is good to go after the forearm injury knocked him out of the game early last Thursday night, and he’s drawing the start as the Jets look to ensure rookie Zach Wilson (knee) gets back to 100%. Also, White has played very well for New York and pretty much deserves an opportunity to start again, so we’ll see him out there against a tough Bills team on Sunday.

The Buccaneers are signing Darren Fells.
Fells will start on the practice squad for Tampa Bay, but he’s expected to be brought up to the active roster as early as Sunday, which indicates Rob Gronkowski (back) might not be ready for Week 10. Fells goes from the winless Lions to the defending champion Bucs.
