Join now >The Jaguars have signed John Brown to the practice squad.
Brown lands in a great spot to eventually not only be added to the active roster, but also have a role, as Jacksonville has a fairly open depth chart behind Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault Jr. The veteran is worth monitoring in redraft leagues, and his field-stretching presence can eventually be a boost for Trevor Lawrence.

Chase Edmonds suffered a high-ankle sprain.
The MRI confirmed the initial fear, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Edmonds has dealt with injuries throughout his career and has found a way to play through them, but when he left yesterday’s Week 9 win over the Niners early it was unfortunately for a high-ankle sprain. This will knock Edmonds out for multiple weeks, and expect the dynamic running back to be placed on injured reserve (forcing him out at least three games). James Conner, who leads the league with 11 touchdowns this season, is now set for more touches and should be in must-start status in all fantasy leagues.

Russell Wilson (finger) has been cleared to play.
Coming off the bye week, Wilson is ready to go against the Packers for Week 11 this Sunday. Wilson missed just three games with the serious finger injury, and he’s back about as soon as possible and sooner than most expected—it’s not a surprise coming from Wilson. The Seahawks are 3-5 and right in the mix for an NFC playoff spot, and, while Geno Smith played well, Wilson’s presence will be a big boost.

The Lions are releasing Darren Fells.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Fells asked for his release and that it’s been granted. The veteran tight end presumably wanted to play for a team with a better shot of contending. He’ll now hit waivers.

The Bears are activating David Montgomery (knee) from injured reserve.
Montgomery is ready to play tonight against the Steelers, and it sounds like he won’t have any limitations. Khalil Herbert has emerged as an exceptional rookie ball-carrier for Chicago, but Matt Nagy has indicated that Montgomery won’t have a decrease from his usual touches. Montgomery missed four games with his knee sprain.

Chase Edmonds is feared to be dealing with a high-ankle sprain, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Edmonds was knocked out of Sunday’s game following just one touch, and it sounds like he is dealing with an injury that could will lead to multiple games missed. The news arguably elevates James Conner—coming off a three-touchdown performance—into the RB1 ranks for Arizona’s offense, and second-year back Eno Benjamin is also worth a look on waivers after impressing on a touchdown run yesterday. Even if we don’t see him for the rest of the month, Edmonds remains a definite hold in all leagues.

The Lions have designated Tim Boyle to return from injured reserve, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Boyle will have three weeks to be activated, and it sounds like he has a good shot at being ready to backup Jared Goff coming off Detroit’s bye week. The Lions have a tough couple of games over the next two weeks with trips to Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
