Samuel caught two passes for 72 yards and the score, which came deep over the middle from undrafted quarterback Kyle Allen. In 13 games this year, Samuel caught 39 passes for 494 yards and five touchdowns with eight carries for 84 yards and two more scores as a runner. Still just 22 until next August, Samuel has untapped potential and should operate as a clear starter in 2019. The Ohio State product will probably be a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.

Dalton Schultz catches one pass in Week 17.
Schultz gained 17 yards on his lone reception versus the Giants. Meanwhile, Blake Jarwin put up a monster 7/119/3 line and is Dallas’ top tight end entering the postseason. Schultz’s rookie regular season ends with 12 receptions for 116 yards. He’ll look to find the end zone sometime in January during a playoff run.

Julio Jones scores against the Buccaneers.
Jones caught nine passes for 138 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 17 loss, with the score coming on a post route. Jones also made a clutch catch late in the game to help get the Falcons into field goal range for a game-winner by Matt Bryant as time expired; and he was also open for another potential touchdown in the red zone on a crossing route where he was wide-open, but teammate Calvin Ridley was also wide-open in the flat. The All-Pro’s exceptional 2018 season ends with 113 receptions for 1,677 yards and eight touchdowns along with two carries for 12 yards. He played great all season, but he really got things going from Week 8 on, which is when he scored all of his touchdowns. Julio earned the new contract extension he wanted last summer, and we don’t see why the Falcons wouldn’t give it to a hard-worker and one of the NFL’s best and highest-effort players. Jones might go in the second round of most fantasy drafts next season, but he’ll obviously offer overall WR1 upside during his 30-year-old campaign. Jones is the only receiver in NFL history with 1,400 yards in five consecutive seasons.

Duke Johnson handles five touches in Week 17 loss.
Johnson rushed four times for 21 yards and caught a three-yard pass. Despite a contract extension before the season, Cleveland’s receiving back basically saw his touches cut in half this year, rushing 40 times for 201 yards (5.0 YPC) and catching 47 passes for 429 yards and three scores. Johnson probably needs a new coaching staff that will implement a complete spread attack to rebuild his fantasy value, but even then, it will be tough to keep Nick Chubb off the field.
12/31/18 - 12:17 PM ET
DeAndre Carter catches four passes against the Jags.
Carter gained 33 yards on his four Week 17 receptions. He also lost a fumble. Carter’s regular season, which started with the Eagles, ends with 22 receptions for 216 yards (2o receptions for 196 yards with Houston). Carter is a strong special-teams contributor as a returner, but he’ll look to make an impact on offense and special teams during the postseason.
12/31/18 - 09:21 AM ET
James White totals 69 yards and a score in win over the Jets.
White rushed four times for 30 yards, also adding four receptions for 39 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown. The 26-year-old finishes his fifth season by setting career-highs across the board, rushing 94 times for 425 yards (4.5 YPC) and five touchdowns with an 87/751/7 receiving line. White will be back in action for the AFC Divisional Round against Houston, Baltimore, or the Chargers in a couple weeks.
12/31/18 - 10:11 AM ET
Jeremy Langford gets nine carries in Falcons’ win.
Langford gained 25 yards on his nine attempts against the Bucs in Week 17. This was the former Bears starter’s first game since the 2016 season, so it was great to see him back on the field before the 2018 campaign ended. Langford is just 27 and will look to start next season on a team, but he’s not a fantasy option at the moment.
