Tevin Coleman | Free Agent RB

Tevin Coleman scores against the Buccaneers.

Coleman carried eight times for 45 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for nine yards, with the score coming on a 23-yard run where he showed his exceptional acceleration and one-cut ability before brushing off a couple of tackles on his way to the end zone. Brian Hill (eight carries) and Jeremy Langford (nine carries) also received some work, as the Falcons probably didn’t want to give Coleman too much work as he entered the game with a groin issue and is set to become a free agent this offseason. Coleman had 167 carries for 800 yards and four touchdowns along with 32 receptions for 276 yards and five touchdowns this season. The explosive fourth-year running back did a great job of filling in as the starter with Devonta Freeman missing most of the year, and his performance should make the Falcons interested in bringing him back, which they’ve said they want to do. However, other teams should certainly be interested in signing Coleman as a starter this offseason, so we’ll see what happens. Coleman would have RB1 upside if he becomes a starter somewhere.

Austin Carr | Saints WR

Austin Carr held without a catch in Week 17 loss.

He was targeted once. Carr’s regular season ends with nine receptions for 97 and two touchdowns, but he hasn’t caught a pass since November.

12/31/18 - 11:53 AM ET

D.J. Moore | Bears WR

D.J. Moore caught four passes for 81 yards in Sunday’s win over New Orleans.

Moore led the Panthers in receiving on a team-high eight targets. The No. 24 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft ends his rookie campaign with 55 receptions for 788 yards (14.3 average) and two touchdowns, also adding 13 carries for 172 yards on the ground. Moore should have a great opportunity to reach 1,000 receiving yards in 2019 if Cam Newton (shoulder) can get to 100%, but Curtis Samuel should also have a significant role.

12/31/18 - 11:07 AM ET

Sony Michel | Retired RB

Sony Michel rushed 14 times for 50 yards in Sunday’s win over the Jets.

Michel ends his first regular season with 209 carries for 931 yards (4.5 YPC) and six touchdowns, also adding seven receptions for 50 yards. The Georgia product will be the focal point of the rushing attack next month and perhaps into February as the Patriots look to bring home their sixth Lombardi Trophy.

12/31/18 - 10:08 AM ET

Mohamed Sanu | Free Agent WR

Mohamed Sanu throws a touchdown in Week 17.

Sanu hit Matt Ryan for a five-yard touchdown on his lone pass attempt of the game, and he also caught seven passes for 90 yards. The passing touchdown was the fourth of Sanu’s career, and his 2018 season ends with 66 receptions for a career-high 838 yards and four touchdowns along with seven carries for 44 yards and the five-yard passing score. Sanu should remain a solid contributor for the Falcons in 2019, and he’ll likely be a late-round selection in most fantasy drafts.

12/31/18 - 07:20 AM ET

Josh Hill | Retired TE

Josh Hill held without a catch in Week 17 loss.

He ends the regular season with 16 receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown, but Hill will remain in New Orleans for the foreseeable future after reportedly signing a three-year extension. Now, the team will look to make a playoff run starting in a couple weeks.

12/31/18 - 11:52 AM ET

Alfred Blue | Free Agent RB

Alfred Blue gets five touches against the Jaguars.

Blue carried three times for 12 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards in the Texans’ Week 17 win. Blue’s regular season ends with 150 carries for 499 yards and two touchdowns along with 20 receptions for 154 yards. He’s a strong backup that will look to do some damage in the postseason starting this Saturday against the Colts.
