Join now >Nick Chubb comes up short of 1,000 yards in Week 17 loss.
Chubb rushed nine times for 24 yards, also adding two receptions for negative-four yards. Unfortunately, Chubb was over 1,000 rushing yards before losing five yards and not getting another carry the rest of the way, and the Browns probably didn’t run close to enough against a defense that has been vulnerable on the ground in recent weeks. Still, Chubb’s impressive rookie campaign ends with 192 carries for 996 yards (5.2 YPC) and eight touchdowns, and he also chipped in a 20/149/2 receiving line. The Georgia product will likely settle in as a late second-round or early-third round pick in fantasy drafts next summer, but we think he is worth considering as a top-ten selection, particularly in standard leagues.

DeShone Kizer throws one interception in Week 17.
Kizer was 16/35 for 132 yards and one interception along with four carries for 40 yards while filling in for Aaron Rodgers, who left the game with a concussion, against the Lions. Entering his third season, Kizer will look to remain the backup in Green Bay next year.

Amari Cooper catches five passes against the Giants.
Cooper gained 31 yards on his five receptions and lost a fumble in the Cowboys’ Week 17 victory. The Giants did a good job of limiting Cooper throughout the game, and Dallas’ top receiver appeared to get frustrated at the lack of production. Cooper’s 2018 regular season ends with 75 receptions for 1,005 yards and seven touchdowns, with 53 receptions for 725 yards and six touchdowns in his nine games with the Cowboys. His arrival in Dallas was a big part of the Cowboys claiming the NFC East and a home playoff game this Saturday night against the Seahawks, and he’ll look to come up big during a playoff run.

Brian Hill gets nine touches in Week 17.
Hill carried eight times for 30 yards and caught one pass for nine yards against the Buccaneers. After his strong Week 16 performance (eight carries, 115 yards), Hill’s season ends with 20 carries for 157 yards and one reception for nine yards. It’s up in the air whether Hill will return to the Falcons next season, but we’d think the team is interested in bringing him back.

Baker Mayfield, Browns lose a heartbreaker to the Ravens, 26-24.
Mayfield was 23/42 for 376 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions in the loss. All three interceptions were on the rookie—including the game-ending turnover in Baltimore territory on fourth down—and he seemed to be a bit off throughout the game despite nearly 400 yards. Overall this season, Mayfield completed 63.8% of his passes for 3,725 yards, 27 touchdowns (a new rookie record), and 14 interceptions. There is certainly plenty to get excited about from both a real-life and fantasy perspective, but the next head coach will obviously be a big factor in Mayfield’s development. For now, he can be considered a popular mid-to-late-round option at quarterback next summer.

DeAndre Hopkins catches 12 passes in Week 17.
Hopkins gained 147 yards on his 12 receptions against the Jaguars, as cornerback Jalen Ramsey simply couldn’t hang with him throughout the game (and Deshaun Watson made some good throws to make things easier on his receiver). Hopkins’ regular season ends with 115 receptions for 1,572 yards and 11 touchdowns, as he lived up to the high-floor, high-upside billing that made him a first-round pick in most fantasy drafts. Look for Hopkins to be heavily targeted in the postseason, starting this Saturday versus Indy.

Nick Foles has bruised ribs and is expected to play in the postseason.
This was the hope yesterday, and an NFL Network reports say tests revealed no breaks (and apparently no other internal damage). Foles is going to be ready to go for this Sunday against the Bears in Chicago, which is obviously great news for the defending Super Bowl champs as they look to go on another improbable run this season.
