Join now >Latavius Murray (ankle) is officially inactive for Week 9.
Murray was listed as doubtful entering the weekend, so this was the expectation. This is Murray’s second consecutive missed game. The Ravens’ next contest is this Thursday night, so we’ll see if Murray can make enough progress to play on the short week.

James Robinson (heel) is officially inactive for Week 9.
Robinson was able to get to the point where he tested his heel/ankle during pregame warmups, but he’s being held out for today’s matchup against the Bills. Carlos Hyde will lead the Jacksonville backfield, but he gets a tough matchup today.

Tua Tagovailoa (finger) will not play in Week 9.
Tagovailoa has a fractured finger on his throwing hand, so he will be a surprise inactive for Miami. Jacoby Brissett should be a quality streaming option in a good matchup versus Houston, and he could provide a small boost to Mike Gesicki as a high-end TE1. It doesn’t sound like the finger injury will be a long-term issue for Tua.

The Bears have released Breshad Perriman, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
This could be the team clearing a roster spot for David Montgomery (knee) if he’s set to return this week. Chicago could eventually bring Perriman back on the practice squad.

Drew Lock has been ruled out for Week 9 due to COVID-19 protocols.
Lock will be unable to back up Teddy Bridgewater today against the Cowboys. This is due to COVID-19 protocols, so perhaps Lock was just a “close-contact”.

The Eagles have activated Tyree Jackson from injured reserve.
Jackson should get a great opportunity to prove himself behind Dallas Goedert down the stretch, and he’s definitely a name to monitor based on his size and athleticism—particularly in dynasty leagues.

The Bills have placed Mitchell Trubisky on the COVID-19 list.
Trubisky will be out tomorrow versus the Jaguars, but hopefully he’s feeling OK and will be good to return in Week 10. Buffalo will likely call Davis Webb up from the practice squad to backup Josh Allen this weekend.
