D’Onta Foreman scores in his first game of 2018.

Foreman, who was active for the first time this season after working his way back from a bad Achilles injury suffered last year, carried seven times for -1 yard and caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. The score was a 20-yarder where he made himself available down the field on a Deshaun Watson scramble. While the second-year running back didn’t get much going on the ground, it was good to see him back on the field for the first time since last season. Foreman remains more of a dynasty-league hold than redraft option heading into Week 17.

Alfred Blue gets eight touches against the Eagles.

Blue carried four times for 14 yards and caught four passes for 26 yards in the Texans’ Week 16 loss. With Lamar Miller out, the workload was disappointing, especially with D’Onta Foreman getting seven carries (for -1 yard) in his first game of the season. Blue would not be a recommended fantasy option even if Miller remains out next week against the Jags.

Deshaun Watson scores four times against the Eagles.

Watson was 29/40 for 339 yards and two touchdowns along with eight carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans’ Week 16 loss. He also lost one fumble in the game on a strip sack. Watson basically carried Houston’s offense (which ran just 11 times for 13 yards with the running backs) as they tried to match Nick Foles, and he led the Texans to 14 fourth-quarter points including a go-ahead touchdown to Vyncint Smith with 2:04 remaining on a perfect 35-yard deep ball, but the Eagles kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired. This was one of the best games of the season for the second-year quarterback, who probably put a lot of people in a great position to win a fantasy title. Watson concludes the regulars season with a tough matchup against the Jaguars.

Kenjon Barner catches one pass against the Falcons.

Barner gained three yards on his one Week 16 reception. He also did a nice job on kick and punt returns again, but made the highlight reel after taking a big hit from Falcons punter Matt Bosher on a kickoff. Outside of leagues that reward points for return yardage, Barner is not a recommended fantasy option in Week 17.

D.J. Moore catches two passes in Week 16.

Moore gained 19 yards on his two reception versus the Falcons. The rookie receiver was targeted seven times, but he couldn’t get much going in the Panthers’ loss. To end his rookie season, Moore faces a Bucs team he had just one reception against earlier this year.

Torrey Smith catches one pass in Week 16.

Smith gained 19 yards on his lone reception against the Falcons. He’s been injured for most of the season, but this was Smith’s first reception since Week 6. The veteran receiver is not a recommended fantasy option next week against the Buccaneers.

Devin Funchess catches two passes against the Falcons.

Funchess gained 23 yards on his two Week 16 receptions. The former No. 1 receiver could be playing his last game with the Panthers next week against the Bucs, as both sides might be ready to move in a different direction this offseason.
