Calvin Ridley | Titans WR

Calvin Ridley caught five passes for 42 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.

Ridley was second to Julio Jones in targets (seven), but Matt Ryan missed him on a would-be touchdown in the second half. The rookie has struggled this month with just nine grabs for 74 scoreless yards, so we’ll see if he can bounce back next week in a good matchup against the Panthers. Consider Ridley a quality FLEX play.

Aaron Jones | Vikings RB

Aaron Jones (knee) has been placed on injured reserve.

With just two games remaining after Jones’ knee injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Bears, this was fully expected. Jones’ year ends with 133 carries for 728 yards and eight touchdowns along with 26 receptions for 206 yards and one touchdown. He’s currently averaging a league-leading 5.5 yards per carry, and he played exceptionally well in his second NFL season. From Weeks 8-14, when Jones became the clear leader in the backfield, he averaged 15.7 fantasy points per game (standard scoring), which would rank eighth on a per-game basis for running backs. Looking ahead to 2019, it’ll be interesting to see who the head coach and offensive coaching staff for Green Bay consists of, but Jones will be an RB1 candidate in fantasy drafts next summer, assuming he’s the lead back heading into the year.

Julio Jones | Free Agent WR

Julio Jones scores in win over the Cardinals.

Jones caught six passes for 82 yards, including a diving 21-yard touchdown against Patrick Peterson at the end of the first half. Julio now has 100 receptions and over 1,500 yards with two games to go this season, and he will look to finish 2018 on a high note against Carolina and Tampa Bay over the next couple weeks. There aren’t many better plays at the position.

Bo Scarbrough | Free Agent RB

The Seahawks signed Bo Scarbrough.

This could indicate Rashaad Penny’s knee injury could keep him out longer than the one game he just missed, but perhaps Seattle just wanted to bring Scarbrough on board. The former Alabama running back is not a recommended fantasy pickup.

12/18/18 - 03:53 PM ET

Brian Hill | Free Agent RB

Brian Hill rushed three times for seven yards in Sunday’s win over Arizona.

Hill saw action in a blowout as Ito Smith (knee) left in the fourth quarter. Hopefully Smith can get cleared for Week 16, but if not, Hill is worth monitoring as Atlanta lightens Tevin Coleman’s workload to close out the year.

12/17/18 - 09:20 AM ET

Dan Arnold | Free Agent TE

Dan Arnold did not catch a pass in Week 15.

Arnold was targeted on a corner route on Drew Brees’ interception against the Panthers, but he otherwise was not involved as a receiver. The second-year tight end is not yet a reliable fantasy option.

12/17/18 - 11:42 PM ET

Mohamed Sanu | Free Agent WR

Mohamed Sanu caught three passes for 30 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.

He also rushed once for 11 yards. Sanu saw six targets, but Atlanta did a lot of shuffling at receiver as they blew out Arizona. The veteran will remain a decent FLEX for the fantasy championship.
