Andre Roberts scores against the Texans.

Roberts caught three passes for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 15 loss. The score was on a nice double-move in the red zone where he showed good focus to make a catch on a throw that was slightly underthrown. The veteran receiver had what is probably considered a drop earlier in the game, as Sam Darnold made a nice throw on a corner route that appeared to go off Roberts’ hands. Roberts is a better real-life contributor than fantasy option at the moment.

Jamison Crowder catches 79-yard touchdown in Week 14 loss.

Crowder was able to get loose for a long score in the fourth quarter of a 40-16 loss, and he finished with two receptions for 87 yards. The entire Washington offense is probably better left out of lineups at this point, so Crowder can stay on the waiver wire heading into a matchup against the Jaguars.

Sam Darnold throws two touchdowns in Saturday loss.

Darnold was 24/38 for 253 yards and two touchdowns along with six carries for 35 yards against the Texans. The rookie quarterback had a very strong showing, making good decisions while throwing the ball well both inside and outside the pocket. The first score was on a nice scramble up in the pocket before he found Robby Anderson in the back of the end zone, and the second score was on an Andre Roberts double-move in the end zone. Next up, Darnold stays at home to face the Packers. He’s not a recommended fantasy option for fantasy championships, but it’s good to see him play well in his first NFL season.

Rod Smith handles six touches in win over the Eagles.

Smith rushed four times for 27 yards and caught two passes for 16 yards. The Ohio State product is just a handcuff to Ezekiel Elliott, but he saw more work on Sunday as Dallas ran nearly 100 plays. The Cowboys take on the Colts next week.

Jordan Leggett catches eight-yard pass in loss to the Texans.

It came on his only target of the game. Leggett will try to make an impact over the final two weeks of the season, but he’s not a fantasy option behind Chris Herndon.

Adrian Peterson bottled up in Week 14 loss.

Peterson rushed ten times for 16 yards and caught one pass for three yards in a 40-16 defeat. AD didn’t have much of a chance behind a struggling offensive line against stacked boxes, and things won’t be much easier next week in a matchup with the Jaguars. Peterson needs 128 yards for the eighth 1,000-yard season of his career, so perhaps he will have some added determination as he faces tough circumstances.

Alfred Blue handles 11 touches in Week 15 win.

Blue rushed nine times for six yards and caught two passes for nine yards. The LSU product operated as the team’s lead back as Lamar Miller (ankle) left the game in the first half, but he didn’t find much running room. If Blue draws the start next week, he will be a decent FLEX option in Philadelphia.
