Chris Herndon catches seven passes in Week 12.

Herndon gained 57 yards on his seven receptions (eight targets) against the Patriots. The seven catches set a career-high for the rookie. Herndon is playing well at a position rookies tend to struggle, so his dynasty outlook is very promising. He’s not a recommended fantasy option next week against a Titans team that’s been among the league’s best against opposing tight ends this season.

Jermaine Kearse scores against the Patriots.

Kearse received a team-high 12 targets in the Jets’ Week 12 loss, catching six passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. The score was a 16-yarder in the first quarter for New York’s lone touchdown of the day. This was Kearse’s first touchdown of the season, so he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option right now, though the 12 targets are a positive sign.

Quincy Enunwa leads the Jets in Week 12 receiving.

Enunwa was targeted four times against the Patriots, catching all four targets for 73 yards with a long of 41 yards. This was a good showing for Enunwa, who appears to be healthy and will look to make a big impact down the stretch. He might work his way back into FLEX value down the stretch, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option against the Titans next week.

Elijah McGuire gets seven touches against the Patriots.

McGuire carried six times for 19 yards and caught one pass for seven yards in the Jets’ Week 12 loss. The second-year running back didn’t have much room to run in the game, and next week could be just as tough against the Titans. McGuire has upside if the Jets decide to give him a nice workload, but he’s not a fantasy option yet.

Isaiah Crowell gets nine touches in Week 12.

Crowell carried six times for 30 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards against the Patriots. Crowell hasn’t crossed 50 rushing yards since his 219-yard outburst in Week 5, so he’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.

Josh McCown throws one touchdown against the Patriots.

With Sam Darnold (foot) still out, McCown drew a second straight start. The veteran quarterback went 26/45 for 276 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with three carries for 25 yards in the Week 12 loss. The score was a 16-yarder to Jermaine Kearse; and the interception came on a deep ball attempt to Robby Anderson, which Stephon Gilmore stepped in front of at the end zone. McCown seems likely to start again next week, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option against a stingy Titans defense.

Johnny Holton sees one target in loss to the Ravens.

He and Derek Carr didn’t connect. The speedster was switched to cornerback for Oakland, but injuries at wideout could give him more looks there down the stretch. Still, he needs to connect on a deep ball to be worth a Hail Mary play.
