Join now >Julian Edelman (ankle) is officially active for Week 9.
Edelman was listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup with the Packers, but he likely would have been “probable” if the NFL still offered that as an injury designation. It’s unclear whether Edelman will see a lot of impressive rookie cornerback Jaire Alexander in tonight’s game, but the veteran receiver should still offer a high floor in fantasy lineups. Edelman could be in line for more targets with Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) out.

Randall Cobb (hamstring) is officially active against the Patriots.
Cobb was listed as questionable entering the weekend, but there wasn’t much doubt he’d be out there in this huge primetime matchup. Geronimo Allison (groing/hamstring) is out, so Cobb could see a slight uptick in targets. Cobb is in the FLEX conversation this week.

Sony Michel (knee) is inactive for tonight’s game.
Michel, who said he’d play on one leg for his teammates, wanted to be out there tonight versus the Packers, but the team is opting to hold him out. James White should be set for a heavy workload, and Cordarrelle Patterson should get some carries like he did last week against Buffalo. Michel should have a chance to play against the Titans next week, but keep in mind the Patriots’ bye week is the week after.
11/4/18 - 06:51 PM ET
Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) is inactive against the Packers.
Gronkowski was thought to be a true game-time decision, but he’s unfortunately not ready to go for this highly-anticipated primetime game. Gronk’s absence should mean more targets for Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan inside. We’ll see if Gronkowski can play in Week 10 ahead of New England’s bye week in Week 11.

Chris Carson’s injury is officially a hip injury.
The team is calling Carson doubtful to return, so his day is almost certainly done. The injury is likely what he came into the game dealing with, and now we just need to hope the injury doesn’t linger longer then today. Before leaving, Carson had eight carries for 40 yards. Mike Davis will take over as the lead back with Carson out.

Chris Carson leaves game with apparent thigh injury.
Carson has his left thigh area wrapped and is on the sidelines without his helmet for Seattle’s first offensive drive of the second half. Carson entered the game with a hip injury, but it’s unclear if this is related to that. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Carson’s status.
11/4/18 - 05:55 PM ET
Chris Ivory (shoulder) is out for the rest of today’s game.
Before leaving, Ivory had seven carries for 38 yards and three receptions for 20 yards. There are under five minutes remaining in a blowout, so hopefully the Bills are just holding out the veteran running back as a precaution.
