The future Hall of Fame quarterback can sometimes make things look more serious than they are, but thankfully it appears he just had the wind knocked out of him despite landing on his right shoulder. Roethlisberger is trying to help the Steelers seal a big win against Baltimore.

Ben Roethlisberger leaves game with potential shoulder injury.
Roethlisberger scrambled in the fourth quarter and was tackled from behind from Za’Darius Smith, appearing to land on his right throwing shoulder. This is obviously not good news for the Steelers, so hopefully the injury isn’t as serious as it appears. Joshua Dobbs is set to enter the game for Pittsburgh, and we’ll update you as more information becomes available on Big Ben’s status.

Baker Mayfield has returned to the game.
Mayfield was thankfully quickly cleared, and the rookie quarterback will be back in the game to start the fourth quarter for Cleveland. He’s attempting to lead a 19-point comeback against the Chiefs.

Baker Mayfield leaves game after big hit.
Mayfield took a big hit on a late-third-quarter sack against the Chiefs, and he’s now in the medical tent. It appeared to be an injury to the chest area, but we’ll update you as more information becomes available on the rookie quarterback.

UPDATE: JuJu Smith-Schuster has returned to the game.
Smith-Schuster frankly might have been doing a nice acting job to draw a penalty, as he initially appeared OK after taking the hit. JuJu only missed a few plays.

JuJu Smith-Schuster leaves game after hit to the head.
After a long reception over the middle that was negated because of offsetting penalties, Smith-Schuster took a hit to the head from Ravens safety Eric Weddle. JuJu had to be helped to the sideline, and it looks like he’ll be tested for a concussion. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Smith-Schuster’s status.

Chris Carson (hip) is officially active against the Chargers.
Carson was added to the injury report with a hip injury, something that’s previously been a problem for him, but he’s ready to go for the Seahawks. The second-year running back has 20-carry potential, and he’s a strong RB2 option for Week 9.
