Royce Freeman (ankle) is inactive against the Texans.

Freeman is headed in the right direction after being listed as questionable for today’s game, but he’s not quite ready to get back on the field. The Broncos have a bye in Week 10, so the rookie running back should be ready to go after the bye.

Melvin Gordon (hamstring) is officially active for Week 9.

Gordon got up to a full practice on Friday, so he’s ready to go after missing just one game. The bye week helped Gordon’s recovery, and he should see his usual workload against the Seahawks. As usual, the star running back is an elite RB1 this week.

Charles Clay (hamstring) is questionable to return against the Bears.

We’ll update you as more information becomes available on the veteran tight end. Jason Croom and Logan Thomas will get more snaps in Clay’s absence.

Antonio Callaway (ankle) is active against the Chiefs.

Callaway tweaked his ankle in practice on Thursday, but it’s not holding him out for Cleveland’s Week 9 matchup with the Kansas City. The rookie receiver has upside, but he’s not a highly-recommended FLEX option in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

Rashard Higgins (knee) is officially active for the Browns.

Higgins said he would play, and he is now officially in the lineup for Cleveland. There’s some upside in a good matchup with the Chiefs, but there are probably safer options for Week 9 fantasy lineups.

Kevin White is inactive for the Bears.

The former No. 7 overall pick appears to be a healthy scratch for Chicago, despite Allen Robinson II (groin) being out. White might not have much fantasy value as long as he remains on the Bears.

Theo Riddick (knee) is active for the Lions.

Riddick was able to get back to being a full practice participant on Friday and was off the Week 9 injury report, so this was expected. Riddick isn’t a highly-recommended fantasy option as a member of Detroit’s committee backfield, but he has some deep-league PPR FLEX appeal.
