Join now >Nick Chubb scores in Week 9.
Chubb worked as a workhorse against the Chiefs, carrying 22 times for 85 yards and a touchdown while adding one reception (on one target) for five yards. The rookie running back didn’t have a ton of room to run on Kansas City’s defense, but he continuously kept his legs moving and pushed forward for positive yardage. Next week, Chubb faces a Falcons defense that’s played very well against the run in recent weeks, but he’s still in the RB1/RB2 mix as a potential 20-carry guy.

Tyrod Taylor throws one pass in Week 9.
Taylor was 1/1 for 11 yards against the Chiefs, as he was inserted into the game while Baker Mayfield was checked out after taking a big hit on a sack. Taylor remains in Cleveland after the trade deadline, and it’s possible he doesn’t play another snap for the Browns if Mayfield remains on the field.

Baker Mayfield throws two touchdowns in loss to the Chiefs.
Mayfield was 29/42 for 297 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Week 9 loss. Both touchdowns were to running back Duke Johnson Jr., but overall it was difficult to keep up with Kansas City’s offense. The interception was late in the game when he forced the ball while outside the pocket. Mayfield left briefly after taking a bit hit to the chest area, but thankfully he’s probably fine. The No. 1 pick next faces a banged-up Falcons defense in another potential shootout, so he’s in the QB1 conversation for Week 10.

Demarcus Robinson catches one pass in Week 9.
Robinson’s lone reception versus Cleveland went for three yards. He’s more of a real-life contributor as Kansas City’s fourth receiver than he is a reliable fantasy option.
11/5/18 - 07:28 AM ET
Chris Conley catches one pass against the Browns.
Conley’s lone Week 9 reception went for 23 yards. On his other target in the game, Conley had a drop on a would-be first down. The Georgia product might be in the FLEX mix if Sammy Watkins (foot) misses any time, but Watkins is expected to be fine.
11/5/18 - 07:24 AM ET
Travis Kelce scores twice in Chiefs’ win.
Kelce led Kansas City in receptions, receiving yardage, receiving touchdowns, and targets against the Browns, catching seven passes (on nine targets) for 99 yards and two touchdowns. Both scores were on throws to the front of the end zone on routes to the post. Kelce is in the midst of his best season as a pro, and he is obviously an elite TE1 option next week against the Cardinals.
11/5/18 - 07:23 AM ET
Sammy Watkins catches five passes against the Browns.
Watkins gained 62 yards on his five receptions in the Chiefs’ Week 9 win, and he added one carry for one yard. He was targeted five times in the game, so it was efficient afternoon for the former first-round pick. Watkins did injure his foot a bit and had it taped on the sideline, but it didn’t appear to affect his play. We’ll keep an eye on the injury report this week, but expect Watkins to be out there to face the Cardinals in Week 10.
