Join now >Keke Coutee (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 9.
Coutee was able to be a limited participant in practice all week, so he looks to have a pretty good chance of playing on Sunday. However, it’ll be difficult to trust the rookie receiver in fantasy lineups as more than a FLEX option. Coutee’s status will be known by 2:35 PM ET on Sunday.
11/2/18 - 03:03 PM ET
Chase Edmonds gets three carries in Week 8.
Edmonds carried twice for nine yards and added one reception for 12 yards against the Niners. The rookie running back was in for much of the game-winning drive for Arizona late in the game while David Johnson was being checked for a concussion, but DJ was able to check back in. Edmonds remains a Johnson handcuff for now.
10/29/18 - 12:21 PM ET
Allen Robinson II (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday.
After missing last week’s game and the first two days of practice this week, it’s difficult to be optimistic about Robinson’s Week 9 status. The good news is the Bears play at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so A-Rob’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET.
11/2/18 - 02:22 PM ET
Nick Mullens throws three touchdowns in NFL debut.
The first career NFL action for the second-year undrafted player couldn’t have gone much better in the Niners’ 34-3 rout of the Raiders tonight. Mullens was 16/22 for 262 yards and three touchdowns, as he was poised and played within Kyle Shanahan’s offense. While Mullens played very well, the Raiders frankly played extremely poor defense, so everything aligned perfectly for the young quarterback’s debut. C.J. Beathard is likely to re-take the starting job if healthy, but Mullens would not be a recommended fantasy option even if he starts in Week 10 against the Giants.
11/1/18 - 11:13 PM ET
Kenny Stills (groin) is officially questionable for Sunday.
The Dolphins have said they don’t want to risk Stills aggravating his groin injury by returning to early, but Stills himself wants to play. It sets up an interesting situation to watch on Sunday. The Dolphins kickoff at 1:00 PM ET, so Stills’ Week 9 status will be known before noon on Sunday.
11/2/18 - 01:57 PM ET
David Johnson gets 20 carries in Cardinals’ win.
Johnson carried 16 times for 59 yards and added four receptions for 41 yards against the Niners. Overall, the way the Cardinals utilized Johnson in Byron Leftwich’s first game as offensive coordinator looked similar to how he was used the first seven games of the season with Mike McCoy, but perhaps the bye week will give Leftwich time to add more unique wrinkles to the offense. Ideally, Johnson will be used more on outside runs and complex routes down the field moving forward. At the halfway point in the season, Johnson is on pace for 244 carries, 788 rushing yards, ten rushing touchdowns, 48 receptions, 414 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. The touchdowns have kept Johnson as a solid fantasy option this season, but obviously the yardage and touch totals are way off of what mostly everyone expected coming into the season.
10/29/18 - 12:20 PM ET
DaeSean Hamilton (knee) is out for Week 9.
Hamilton remains week-to-week with his knee injury, but he should have a chance to return after the team’s Week 10 bye week. With Demaryius Thomas now on Houston, Hamilton should have a good opportunity to play a lot down the stretch.
