Mostert suffered one of the most gruesome injuries imaginable, as his forearm area moved in an unthinkable direction. Players instantly called for the training staff to come out, and Mostert is now in a cast and walking to the locker room. Before leaving, Mostert broke a 52-yard touchdown run as he was somehow literally untouched against poor defense from the Raiders. Mostert had seven carries for 86 yards and a touchdown before leaving, and now we just have to hope this injury isn’t as serious as it looks.

Royce Freeman (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 9.
Freeman was able to get in a limited practice today after missing the last two days of practice, so he’s making progress. The rookie running back is probably a true questionable call, and the Broncos don’t play until the second slate of games on Sunday. Fantasy owners planning on inserting Freeman into Week 9 fantasy lineups should have a backup plan from the later games in case Freeman is inactive.

Derek Carr, Raiders fall to 1-6 as Colts score 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
Carr was 21/28 for 244 yards three touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the 42-28 loss, also adding two carries for zero yards and a touchdown. Overall, it was a strong offensive performance for Oakland, but a late fumble by Doug Martin cost them down 35-28, and the Colts made plays down the stretch. Carr gets a quick turnaround to face the 49ers on Thursday night, so he’s on the streaming radar against a very beatable secondary.

Jamison Crowder (ankle) is officially out against the Falcons.
This will be the fourth straight missed game for Crowder, who remains week-to-week with his ankle injury.
11/2/18 - 01:40 PM ET
George Kittle has returned to the game for the Niners.
Kittle went to the locker room to get checked out, but he’s good and is back in the game midway through the second quarter.
11/1/18 - 09:20 PM ET
Chris Thompson (rib) has been ruled out for Week 9.
Thompson is dealing with rib injuries to both sides, which is likely extremely difficult and painful to play through, so this isn’t a surprise. Adrian Peterson will again handle a heavy workload this week against the Falcons, with Kapri Bibbs mixing in behind him.
11/2/18 - 01:38 PM ET
Josh Rosen throws two touchdowns in Cardinals’ win.
Rosen led the Cardinals to 15 fourth-quarter points including a go-ahead touchdown to Christian Kirk late in the fourth quarter. He didn’t play particularly well in the first three quarters but turned it on late in the game. Overall, Rosen was 23/40 for 252 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception along with two carries for 12 yards. Rosen will look to build off of the comeback win in the second half of the season after Arizona’s Week 9 bye. He’s not a fantasy option right now, though.
