Join now >Alex Collins (foot) is listed as questionable to play versus the Steelers.
Collins didn’t practice yesterday, which is a slight concern, but he was back out there today on a limited basis. We expect Collins will be good to go for the Week 9 NFC North matchup, but luckily the Ravens play in the early games. His status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. If he can’t go, Javorius Allen would assume lead back duties, with new acquisition Ty Montgomery a potential several-touch guy.

Marquise Goodwin catches one pass against the Raiders.
Goodwin gained 11 yards on his lone reception in the Niners’ Week 9 win. He also added one carry for two yards. The former track star simply wasn’t on the receiving end of any of the big plays against busts in coverage by the Raiders, and he’ll look to have a bigger game against the Giants in Week 10.

Cooper Kupp (knee) is “good to go” for Week 9.
Rams head coach Sean McVay says Kupp will be out there against the Saints, and he’ll be an honorary captain with his grandfather Jake Kupp being honored by the Saints. Kupp can immediately be inserted as a great option in fantasy lineups after missing the last two games.

Jalen Richard handles ten touches in Week 8 loss.
Richard rushed twice for 14 yards, also adding eight receptions (on eight targets) for 50 yards. Oakland’s receiving back should be a very good PPR asset down the stretch, including this Thursday night against the 49ers. Consider Richard a decent FLEX in standard leagues with a significant boost in PPR formats.

The Jets have officially activated Elijah McGuire from injured reserve.
McGuire broke his foot on the first day of training camp and has been out since then, but he’s officially back as one of the Jets’ two possible designated-to-return players this season. The 2017 sixth-round pick drew rave reviews during the offseason, including Jets running backs coach Stump Mitchell comparing the second-year runner to Hall of Famer LaDanian Tomlinson. If you’re looking to add RB depth to your fantasy team or have an open roster spot, McGuire is worth a shot as a lottery ticket that might pay off in the second half of the season. Starter Isaiah Crowell hasn’t really been effective this season, so McGuire could get a long look over the next several weeks.
11/2/18 - 03:41 PM ET
Derek Carr, Raiders blown out by the 49ers, 34-3.
Carr was 16/22 for 171 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding three carries for five yards. It was an embarrassing display by Oakland, as they didn’t block, didn’t tackle, and didn’t cover. Carr did the best with what he was given, but what used to be a dominant offensive line has been soft ever since they were destroyed by the Redskins in a 2017 primetime game. Sweeping changes over the next few days wouldn’t be surprising, as the franchise needs to find a way to protect the quarterback if the guys on the field won’t do the job. For now, Carr is almost impossible to trust as a streaming option in a lost season. He gets the Cardinals in Week 10.
11/1/18 - 11:21 PM ET
Tyreek Hill is off the Week 9 injury report.
Hill was down to a limited practice yesterday, but it was probably just a case of the Chiefs limiting the dynamic receiver’s practice reps. He was back up to a full participant today and is ready to face the Browns. Hill should obviously remain in fantasy lineups as an excellent option, even in a potentially-tough matchup with Browns cornerback Denzel Ward.
