Join now >Robby Anderson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 9.
Anderson looks like a true game-time call for Sunday against the Dolphins. If active, he’ll have upside against a beatable secondary, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option as a volatile scorer.

T.Y. Hilton held to one reception in win over the Raiders.
It did go for 34 yards, but Hilton was unable to bring in any of his other four targets. While he’s missed two games, T.Y. is on pace for just a 52/706/8 line through eight games, and he probably should be downgraded to weekly WR2 status down the stretch. Hilton gets the Jaguars two times in four weeks when Indy returns from their Week 10 bye.

Matt Breida (ankle) is officially active for Week 9.
Breida has been Wolverine-like this season with his ability to continue playing through injuries while not missing games, and tonight is no different. Despite Nick Mullens making his first NFL start, Breida is a solid RB2/FLEX option in fantasy lineups against a Raiders defense that’s last in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling scores in Week 8.
Valdes-Scantling immediately beat a press attempt and got open deep for a 40-yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers. Overall, the rookie receiver caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown against the Rams. Valdes-Scantling has obvious upside against the Patriots next week, but Davante Adams is the only Packers receiver you can have extreme confidence with in fantasy lineups right now.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is expected to be on a limited snap count this week, according to Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune.
Goessling notes that the Vikings had a similar plan in Week 6 against the Cardinals, but that Cook’s pregame warmup did not go well and he was inactive. Cook has been limited in practice this week, and he’s likely to be listed as questionable for Sunday, but it sounds like he’ll play barring a setback in today’s practice or Sunday’s pre-game warmups. The second-year back only needs a few touches to make a big impact in a game, but he’ll be difficult to trust as more than a FLEX option in Week 9 fantasy lineups if active.

Trent Taylor catches one pass against the Cardinals.
Taylor gained seven yards on his lone reception in the Niners’ Week 8 loss. The second-year receiver faces the Raiders next, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Melvin Gordon (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
Two straight practices is a good sign, albeit in a limited fashion; and some video of Gordon doing drills during practice is out there, and he’s looked good. Gordon is likely headed for a questionable tag when the Week 9 injury report is released tomorrow, but we’ll update you when it becomes official. If we had to guess, we’d say Gordon will be out there against the Seahawks on Sunday.
