Kendrick Bourne leads the Niners in Week 8 receiving.

Bourne was a consistent target for C.J. Beathard throughout the game against the Cardinals, catching seven passes (on ten targets) for 71 yards. The second-year receiver isn’t a recommended fantasy option, but he’ll look to keep it going against the Raiders on Thursday night.

Royce Freeman (ankle) remains out of practice.

Freeman might be ruled out tomorrow ahead of the weekend if he doesn’t practice in at least a limited capacity. He’s on the doubtful side of things right now.

Jamaal Williams scores against the Rams.

Williams received a goal-line carry and converted in Green Bay’s Week 8 loss. Overall, Williams had four carries for nine yards and a touchdown. Aaron Jones was the most productive of the Packers running backs, though, with 12 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown. Williams is a risky FLEX option for Week 9 against New England.

Jordy Nelson caught two passes for 16 yards in Thursday night’s loss to the 49ers.

Nelson was targeted three times as Oakland spread the ball around. With just three receptions for 30 scoreless yards since Amari Cooper was traded, fantasy owners can’t be blamed for dropping Jordy at this point. However, we would advise holding onto him if possible, as Nelson’s biggest issue right now is the offensive line’s inability to protect Derek Carr to allow things to develop down the field. Widespread changes over the next few days wouldn’t be surprising.

Kyle Juszczyk gets two carries against the Cardinals

Juszczyk gained ten yards on his two attempts in the Niners’ Week 8 loss. Juszczyk isn’t getting enough touches to be a viable fantasy option right now.

The 49ers are releasing quarterback Tom Savage, according to multiple reports.

San Francisco plays tonight, so the move suggests that C.J. Beathard (wrist) will at least be active against the Raiders. Savage should resurface soon, and it could be back with the 49ers.

Aaron Jones scores in Packers’ loss.

Jones carried 12 times for 86 yards and a touchdown against the Rams, adding two reception for no yards in the Week 8 loss. The touchdown for the second-year running back was on a 33-yard run where he showed his great explosiveness. Jones out-touched both Jamaal Williams (four carries) and Ty Montgomery (two carries, one reception), but Williams received a goal-line carry and converted. Things can change week-to-week, but Jones looks like the best fantasy option of the bunch and a solid option next week against the Patriots.
