Join now >Davante Adams gos over 130 yards in Week 8.
Adams was matched up with Rams cornerback Marcus Peters for much of the afternoon against the Rams, but he didn’t have much trouble getting open throughout the game. Adams caught five passes for 133 yards, with a long of 48 yards and multiple chunk plays. Green Bay’s No. 1 receiver is simply a matchup-proof fantasy option, so he’ll be an excellent option next week in a potential shootout against the Patriots. However, Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore has been playing shut-down football this season, so he might be one of the few guys that can slow down Adams, who has over 130 yards in three straight games.

Geronimo Allison suffered a groin injury in yesterday’s practice.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says they’ll see how Allison is tomorrow, and it sounds like he’s in real danger of missing Sunday night’s matchup with the Patriots. If Allison is out, Randall Cobb, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Equanimeous St. Brown would all get a boost behind No. 1 Davante Adams.

Marquise Goodwin scores long touchdown in Week 8.
Goodwin caught an in-breaking route and used his world-class speed to go 55 yards to the house for a score. It was Goodwin’s lone reception of the day, but he made it count. Goodwin will look to make another gamebreaking play and more this Thursday night in a Bay Area battle against Oakland.

Nick Mullins will make his first career NFL start against the Raiders, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 49ers might have announced the decision when actives/inactives drop, but in case they don’t, fantasy owners should be made aware of Schefter’s report. Mullins, an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi last year, will have a good spot to make his NFL debut against Oakland’s league-worst pass rush, but this still is a slight ding on George Kittle’s outlook, and all wide receivers are better left out of lineups for Week 9. Also, the Raiders D/ST suddenly becomes an attractive streamer with a ton of upside, but C.J. Beathard (wrist) could still potentially see playing time as the backup. Mullins isn’t a recommended fantasy option.

Todd Gurley turns 31 touches into 195 yards in win over the Packers.
Gurley rushed 25 times for 114 yards, also adding a team-high six receptions and 74 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown. Green Bay did an excellent job stopping Gurley at the goal line—which hadn’t been done all year—but the superstar back produced big-time fantasy numbers nonetheless, and they would have been even better if he didn’t give himself up short of the end zone to seal the game (and no one should complain about the team-first decision). Through eight games, Gurley is on pace for 1,600 rushing yards, 702 receiving yards, and 30 total touchdowns; he’s going to win plenty of fantasy championships down the stretch.

Seth Roberts held to one reception in Week 9 loss.
It went for eight yards. He’s shown good chemistry with Derek Carr, but Roberts isn’t a recommended fantasy option for Week 10 as Oakland rotates receivers in different personnel groupings.

George Kittle catches five passes against the Cardinals.
Kittle gained 57 yards on his five receptions in the Niners’ Week 8 loss. The second-year tight end has at least five receptions and 50 yards in six of his first eight games this season, and he’s on pace for an awesome 74/1,168/4 line at the midway point in the season. Kittle remains an excellent TE1 option on Thursday night against a Raiders team that just gave up three touchdowns to Colts tight ends.
