Join now >Matt Breida gets 16 carries in Week 8.
Breida was listed as questionable coming in with an ankle injury and was expected to be limited against the Cardinals, but he instead received his highest carry total of the season. The second-year back picked up 42 yards on his 16 attempts, as Arizona sured-up their run defense a bit during their mini bye. Breida appeared to re-aggravate his ankle injury a bit, but it didn’t knock him out of the game as he continues to tough through it. Playing on a short week while dealing with the ankle injury is difficult, but Breida is a FLEX option for Week 9 against the Raiders on Thursday night. There is some downside in the even of him exiting the game or being limited throughout, though. Through eight games, Breida is on pace for 168 carries, 974 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 22 receptions, 180 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.

Stefon Diggs (rib) did not practice today.
Diggs also didn’t practice yesterday, so there’s reason for some concern about his Week 9 status. However, it’s worth noting that Diggs did say he expects to play on Sunday. Nonetheless, he’s probably headed for a questionable tag when the official injury report is released tomorrow, but hopefully he’s able to get out there for at least a limited practice.

Dontrelle Inman sees seven targets in Colts debut.
Inman caught six passes for 52 yards after being signed less than two weeks ago. The veteran has seemed to perform whenever given the opportunity, but Inman isn’t a recommended fantasy option as Indy heads into the bye.
10/29/18 - 11:56 AM ET
Dalvin Cook (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
Two straight limited practices is a positive sign, indicating the second-year back hasn’t suffered a setback this week. Another limited session tomorrow would also be a positive, and perhaps Cook will be listed as questionable with a chance to face the Lions on Sunday. And the Vikings kick off at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so his status will be known before most games kick off. We’ll update you on Cook’s official Week 9 status tomorrow.

C.J. Beathard throws one touchdown in Niners’ loss.
Beathard was 14/28 for 190 yards and one touchdown along with five carries for nine yards against the Cardinals. The Niners were ahead for most of the game, but Arizona came back with 15 fourth-quarter points. Beathard nearly drove his team for a game-tying field goal, but a snap went over his head on the final play with San Francisco within ten yards of field goal range. Beathard faces the Raiders on a quick turnaround on Thursday night, and while you have to admire how hard he plays, it’s tough to trust him in fantasy lineups.
10/29/18 - 11:54 AM ET
Jamison Crowder (ankle) remains out of practice.
Crowder looks headed for a questionable tag at best for Week 9, but we’ll see how he’s listed when the official injury report is released tomorrow.
11/1/18 - 02:54 PM ET
Jack Doyle gets featured in first game action since Week 2.
Doyle caught six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown, leading the Colts in all categories, including targets (seven). The connection between he and Andrew Luck didn’t miss a beat, as Doyle scored from ten yards away on what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. Eric Ebron (who also scored on Sunday) should remain involved, but Doyle looks like the clear tight end to own in Indy, and he should be added in all formats as the Colts head into the bye week.
