LaFell has been a reliable target over the past two weeks, but he isn’t worth seriously considering outside of deeper leagues on one of the worst offenses in football. The veteran will look to make an impact next week against the Chargers.

Raheem Mostert receives two carries in Week 8.
Mostert gained 18 yards on his two attempts against the Cardinals, but Alfred Morris (six carries, 28 yards) out-touched him in a change-up after Mostert averaged over seven yards per carry the last two games. Mostert might break a big play on Thursday night against the Raiders, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Sony Michel (knee) was limited in today’s practice.
Michel stringing together limited practices is a good sign for his Week 9 status. The rookie running back has been playing (and playing well) without full practices this season, so he could certainly play with three limited practices this week. We’ll see how Michel is listed on the official injury report for Sunday night when it’s released tomorrow.

Aaron Rodgers throws one touchdown in Packers’ loss.
Rodgers was 18/30 for 286 yards and one touchdown against the Rams in Los Angeles. The touchdown was to Marquez Valdes-Scantling on a 40-yard deep ball where the rookie receiver immediately beat press coverage and got open down the field. The Packers were down by two and Rodgers and the offense would have had a chance at a go-ahead score late in the game, but Ty Montgomery fumbled a kickoff return and the Packers never got the ball back. This Sunday night, Rodgers and the Packers go to Foxboro to face Tom Brady in the Patriots in a must-see matchup. Look for Rodgers to be on his game in a matchup against a fellow future Hall of Famer.

Jared Cook caught two passes for 20 yards in Thursday night’s loss to San Francisco.
Cook saw a couple looks early on, but that was it for the veteran in a game that Oakland was defeated 34-3. Even with Reuben Foster out, the Niners simply dominated in all aspects. Cook should bounce back next week against the Chargers, but the entire Raiders roster will be risky the rest of the way because of how bad a showing they just had. Consider him a low-end TE1.
11/1/18 - 11:34 PM ET
Alfred Morris gets six carries in Week 8.
Morris gained 28 yards on his six attempts, including a long of 26 yards. Matt Breida received 16 carries in the loss, but Morris’ six attempts were triple Raheem Mostert’s two attempts. Breida is the only back that can be trusted in fantasy lineups right now, though.

Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) did not practice on Thursday.
While it could be a rest day for the superstar tight end, fantasy owners need to have backup plans in mind just in case he isn’t a sure thing for Sunday night against the Packers. We will know more after New England releases their official injury report tomorrow, but a questionable tag should be expected for Gronkowski.
