Join now >Kareem Hunt scores three touchdowns in Chiefs’ rout of the Bengals.
Hunt carried 15 times for 86 yards and a touchdown along with five receptions for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Both receiving touchdowns were on passes where he dove and got the ball in within the front pylon, and the rushing score came at the goal line. Hunt was simply a load for the Bengals to tackle all night, and his highlight was probably a play where he looked to be tackled for no gain but spun out of it and then broken more tackles and hurdled a defender. The second-year running back is playing extremely well in a near-unstoppable offense, so he’s obviously an RB1 every week.

Travis Kelce leads Chiefs in receiving as they blow out the Bengals, 45-10.
Kelce caught five-of-five targets for 95 yards. The explosive tight end hasn’t found the end zone since Week 4, but he’s due to return there soon enough, and there’s a good chance it happens next Sunday against the Broncos. If Rob Gronkowski (back) misses another game, Kelce probably has a slight edge on Zach Ertz as the top play for Week 8.

Patrick Mahomes hangs four touchdowns on the Bengals in 45-10 victory.
Mahomes was 28/39 for 358 yards, four scores, and one interception, also adding four carries for 45 yards. It would have been fun to see what Kansas City could have done offensively if Cincinnati made it somewhat competitive, but fantasy owners certainly won’t complain about another huge game from Mahomes. The second-year gunslinger connected with Kareem Hunt twice for six, also finding Demetrius Harris and Tyreek Hill in the red zone for touchdowns. The Chiefs stay home for a Week 8 matchup with the Broncos, so Mahomes remains a high-end QB1 option and perhaps the top play at the position.

Sony Michel’s knee injury is not serious, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Michel’s MRI led to good news after it looked like he might have suffered a serious leg injury in yesterday’s win against the Bears. Rapoport says the timetable for Michel isn’t clear and that “he could still miss time, but it may not be much.” For now, consider Michel questionable to face the Bills one week from tonight. Losing Michel would have been a big blow to the Patriots (and fantasy owners), so expect the team to take things slow and ensure their star rookie runner is very close to 100% before returning to the field. We’ll of course track Michel’s practice status throughout the week.

John Ross held without a reception in loss to the Chiefs.
Ross was targeted just once as Andy Dalton locked onto A.J. Green for 14-of-29 throws. The Bucs are certainly beatable next week, but Ross carries a zero-point floor behind Green and Tyler Boyd, so it’s probably best to look elsewhere.

C.J. Uzomah scores in loss to the Chiefs.
Uzomah caught two passes for 13 yards, including a four-yard score in the second quarter, which turned out to be the lone touchdown of the game for Cincinnati. Fantasy owners that started Uzomah should take the score and keep rolling with him in another good matchup against the Bucs next week.

Tyler Boyd held in check as Bengals get blown out in Kansas City.
Boyd caught three passes for 27 yards in the loss. It was a promising matchup for Boyd, but Andy Dalton locked onto A.J. Green (14 targets) as Cincinnati dropped to 4-3. Next week looks like a bounce-back spot against the Buccaneers, and it would be a surprise if the Bengals didn’t spread the ball around with a more balanced offense in Week 8. Consider Boyd a low-end WR2/FLEX option in all formats.
