Join now >Ronald Jones scores first career touchdown in win over the Browns.
Jones was able to find the end zone from two yards away in the second half, so Tampa Bay might be gaining confidence in the rookie after being a healthy inactive to start the year. The second-round pick finished with six carries for 13 yards and the touchdown while also adding a 15-yard reception, but fantasy owners should wait to see more out of Jones before putting him in lineups. That said, he’s an excellent bench stash for down the stretch.

Michael Roberts scores twice in Lions’ win.
Roberts got open for a couple of corner routes for touchdowns against the Dolphins, including a 15-yard score on the opening drive of the game for Detroit. Overall, Roberts caught three passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Perhaps the performance will be a springboard for the second-year tight end, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option yet.

Ameer Abdullah gets two touches in Week 7.
Abdullah carried once for one yard and added one reception for 12 yards against the Dolphins, as he finally got a touch on offense this season. Abdullah has some deep-league FLEX appeal in PPR leagues if Theo Riddick (knee) misses more time, but it’s difficult to trust him in fantasy lineups.

Peyton Barber handles 11 carries in win over the Browns.
Barber rushed 11 times for 30 yards and didn’t catch either of his two targets. The Auburn product remains atop the pecking order in the backfield, but Ronald Jones (six carries) was able to find the end zone on Sunday, and it’ll be interesting to see if things change in the coming weeks. For now, Barber remains a decent FLEX option for a matchup against the Bengals in Week 8.

Golden Tate gets five touches against the Dolphins.
Tate caught four passes (on a team-high six targets) for 36 yards and added one carry for 30 yards in the Week 7 victory. Next week, Tate faces his former Seahawks team, so he might have something extra for them.

Jameis Winston, Bucs survive to beat the Browns in overtime, 26-23.
Winston was 32/52 for 365 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions (plus a lost fumble), also adding ten carries for 55 yards and a score. In the second quarter, Jameis was able to scramble for a 14-yard score, but he is lucky that his team was able to overcome a couple really bad interceptions. The first came on a throw into triple coverage to O.J. Howard, and the second came in overtime as he threw it right to Jamie Collins, which set the Browns up in Tampa Bay territory; fortunately for Winston, a sack allowed them to get the ball back and eventually kick a game-winning 59-yard field goal. He’s going to put up numbers, but the 24-year-old hasn’t learned from his mistakes through four seasons, so a complete collapse is always a very real possibility that fantasy owners should consider. The Bucs will look to improve to 4-3 with a win over the Bengals next Sunday.

LeGarrette Blount scores in Lions’ win.
Blount carried ten times for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins, with the score coming at the goal line. This makes it two straight games with a touchdown for the veteran running back, who continues to be the preferred option at the goal line despite the emergence of rookie Kerryon Johnson (19 carries, 158 yards). Blount probably needs a touchdown to deliver fantasy value against Seattle next week.
