Robby Anderson catches three passes in Jets’ loss.

Anderson gained 44 yards on his three receptions against the Vikings. He drew a team-high ten targets, but it was difficult to get much going against Xavier Rhodes and company. Anderson was called for a penalty late in the game because he threw the ball toward an official after he thought there was a missed pass interference call. It’s yet another display of immaturity from Anderson, who has had trouble on and off the field since entering the NFL. Anderson faces the Bears next week.

Trenton Cannon gets six touches in Week 7.

Cannon carried two times for four yards and caught four passes for a team-high 69 yards against the Vikings. Cannon stepped up and played well when Bilal Powell left the game with a neck injury, and the sixth-round rookie running back could have a nice role moving forward if Powell misses more time. He’s worth a look as a pickup, particularly in deep PPR leagues.

Isaiah Crowell gets 12 touches against the Vikings.

Crowell carried 11 times for 29 yards and added one reception for 21 yards in the Week 7 loss. With Bilal Powell suffering a neck injury, Crowell might become the clear top option in the Jets backfield if Powell misses time. Crowell would be easier to trust in fantasy lineups with Powell out, but hopefully his teammate is OK.

Sam Darnold turns the ball over four times against the Vikings.

Minnesota’s defense hasn’t been exceptional this season, but they have a lot of talent and were set to have a performance like this at some point. They put a lot of pressure on Darnold, who was 17/42 for 206 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions along with six carries for 18 yards and a touchdown; he also lost a fumble in the Week 7 loss. The rushing score was on a quarterback sneak. Darnold has another tough matchup with the Bears next week, so he’s not a recommended streaming option for fantasy lineups.

Laquon Treadwell catches three passes in Vikings’ win.

Treadwell gained 11 yards on his three receptions against the Jets, catching all three of his targets. The former first-round pick isn’t seeing enough targets to be a highly-recommended fantasy option right now.

Kyle Rudolph catches one pass in Week 7.

Rudolph’s lone reception against the Jets went for 16 yards. He was also targeted on a pass to the back of the end zone but couldn’t come up with it. This was Rudolph’s first game since Week 1 without at least four receptions, so he’ll look to get on track next week against the Saints. Rudolph had eight receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown in two combined matchups (including playoffs) against New Orleans last season.

Brandon Zylstra catches first career pass in Week 7.

The former CFL star caught a 23-yard pass against the Jets, marking the first reception of his NFL career. Congrats to Zylstra on his first NFL reception, and hopefully it’s the first of many. He’s not a recommended fantasy option right now, but he’s someone to keep an eye on.
