Join now >Duke Johnson handles five touches in Week 7 loss.
Johnson rushed once for negative-four yards and caught four passes (on four targets) for 23 yards. The receiving back was listed as the starter for Sunday’s game, but his role didn’t change much, as Nick Chubb (18 carries) was rightfully featured after the team traded Carlos Hyde. Johnson won’t be anything more than a decent FLEX option in PPR leagues when the Browns take on the Steelers next week.

Nick Chubb impresses in first action as featured back.
Chubb rushed 18 times for 80 yards and a score, easily out-carrying Duke Johnson (one attempt) while converting his lone goal-line attempt. The Georgia product looks like a legitimate RB1 down the stretch, and he has plenty of touchdown potential over the next three weeks (@ PIT, v KC, v ATL) if the Browns can at least somewhat keep up with some high-powered attacks. He wasn’t listed as the starter for Week 7, but it’s clear that Chubb will be featured as Cleveland looks to turn their season around.

Eric Tomlinson catches one pass for -5 yards in Week 7.
Tomlinson is not on the fantasy radar at the moment, as he’s more of a real-life contributor for the Jets.

Deontay Burnett catches first career pass against the Vikings.
Burnett gained nine yards on his lone reception in the Jets’ Week 7 loss. The former USC receiver is in a good spot with his college quarterback in New York, so he’s someone to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues. Congrats to him on his first NFL reception, and it might be the first of many.

Andre Roberts catches two passes in Week 7.
Roberts gained 21 yards on his two receptions, including a catch of 20 yards. He also had a 53-yard kick return. The veteran receiver is more of a real-life contributor than fantasy asset at the moment.

Chris Herndon scores against the Vikings.
Herndon caught an in-breaking route in the red zone, making it two scores in as many weeks for the rookie tight end. Overall, Herndon had four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 7 loss. The University of Miami product has emerged as the clear top tight end for Sam Darnold, and he might be worth a look if you’re struggling at tight end.

Baker Mayfield, Browns fall to 2-4-1 with overtime loss to the Buccaneers.
Mayfield was 23/34 for 215 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding four carries for 43 yards. Cleveland didn’t get going until the second half, but Mayfield was able to find David Njoku for a 15-yard score in the third quarter and then connected with Jarvis Landry from 16 yards away to tie the game at 23-23 in the fourth. The Browns had two possessions in overtime, but went three-and-out on both, including a drive that started at the Tampa Bay 45-yard line and was ended on a sack of Mayfield. Overall, the No. 1 overall pick held the ball too long on more than one occasion, and he looked surprisingly indecisive against a soft defense that was missing a couple players up front. The rushing production helped him from a fantasy perspective, but going on the road to face a rested Pittsburgh team might not be as promising a matchup as it looked a couple days ago. Consider Mayfield a low-end QB1 with the hope that he can figure things out in a potential shootout.
