Join now >Kerryon Johnson totals 179 yards in Week 7.
The Lions went with a run-heavy approach against the Dolphins, which led to career-highs in carries, touches, and yardage for the 2017 SEC Offensive Player of the Year. Johnson carried 19 times for 158 yards and added two receptions for 21 yards. The highlight of the game for Johnson was a 71-yard run in which he showed off his great speed and nearly took it to the house. LeGarrette Blount (50 yards, touchdown) had just ten carries compared to Johnson’s 19, which was a good sign for the rookie, but the veteran again scored at the goal line. The opportunity to buy-low on Johnson is probably gone, but the matchup gets tougher next week against the Seahawks.

Breshad Perriman catches one pass in team debut.
The former first-round pick of the Ravens caught a drag route on his only target, but it went for just six yards as he took a big hit to go down. Perriman isn’t a recommended fantasy option for Week 8.

Matthew Stafford throws two touchdowns in Lions’ win.
Stafford had an efficient game against the Dolphins, going 18/22 for 217 yards and two touchdowns along with four carries for nine yards. Both touchdowns were to tight end Michael Roberts on corner routes. The Lions dominated on the ground with 248 rushing yards, which led to just 22 pass attempts for Stafford. He’s a good bet to throw the ball more against Seattle in Week 8.

Antonio Callaway held to one reception in Week 7 loss.
It went for 14 yards, and Callaway saw just two targets. It’s been a struggle for the rookie since Baker Mayfield took over as the starter, as he’s been held in check outside of a 59-yard reception in Week 4. The upside is there, but Callaway won’t be a recommended FLEX play in Week 8 against Pittsburgh.
10/22/18 - 11:02 AM ET
Damion Ratley caught three passes for 23 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Bucs.
Ratley only saw three targets as Baker Mayfield locked onto Jarvis Landry for the most part, but he will get another shot to make a bigger impact next week in Pittsburgh. The rookie isn’t a recommended fantasy option.
10/22/18 - 11:01 AM ET
David Njoku scores in loss to Tampa Bay.
Njoku caught four passes for 52 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown reception that he high-pointed in the corner of the end zone. The second-year tight end has now gone for lines of 5/52, 6/69, 7/55/1, and 4/52/1 since Baker Mayfield took over as the starter, and he looks like a weekly TE1 right along with George Kittle, Jimmy Graham, and Greg Olsen behind the Gronkowski/Kelce/Ertz tier. Keep rolling with Njoku next week in another great matchup (and potential shootout) with the Steelers.
10/22/18 - 10:59 AM ET
Jarvis Landry sees 15 targets in Week 7 loss.
Landry caught ten passes for 97 yards, including a game-tying touchdown reception from 16 yards away in an eventual 26-23 overtime defeat. The Browns didn’t get much of anything going in the first half, but Baker Mayfield kept connecting with Landry over the final 30 minutes, and hopefully that will continue as Cleveland (2-4-1) looks to turn their season around. Pittsburgh will likely give plenty of attention to Landry next Sunday, but he remains a solid WR2 option with a boost towards WR1 territory in PPR leagues.
