Join now >Josh Rosen, Cardinals get blown out, 45-10, against the Broncos on Thursday Night Football.
Rosen was 21/39 for 194 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions, also adding a 14-yard rush with three fumbles (two lost). It was a disastrous performance from the get-go, as Rosen threw a deflected pick six on his first throw of the game, and then forced another throw later in the first quarter that Chris Harris returned for a 53-yard touchdown. In the second half, he lost two fumbles with alarmingly poor ball security, and completely overthrew Christian Kirk on a deep ball in the end zone for his third interception. Overall, Arizona was embarrassed at home, and while the supporting cast and play-calling didn’t help, basically the only plays Rosen made came when he was able to step up in a clean pocket and deliver throws over the middle to a wide-open Kirk a couple times. Also, on the offense’s final play of the game, the first-round pick was sacked and rolled his ankle/foot before hobbling off, so it’s something to keep an eye on heading into Week 8. There’s a very good chance a change is made at offensive coordinator, but Rosen is a bottom-tier fantasy option regardless of matchup, and the early returns haven’t been promising.

Lance Kendricks caught two passes for 37 yards in Monday night’s win over the 49ers.
Kendricks was able to rip off a couple gains against a defense that has been surprisingly vulnerable to tight ends this year, but he isn’t a recommended fantasy option behind Jimmy Graham.

Phillip Lindsay scores against the Cardinals.
Lindsay again split the backfield work pretty evenly with Royce Freeman, but he outperformed the fellow rookie by breaking more chunk gains throughout the night. The undrafted rookie had 14 carries for 90 yards and one touchdown along with one reception for six yards in the Week 7 win. Lindsay next faces a Chiefs team he scored his first career rushing touchdown against in Week 4, and he’ll be at least a solid FLEX option for the matchup.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling goes for first career 100-yard game in win over the 49ers.
Valdes-Scantling caught three passes for 103 yards in a 33-30 victory. The highlight came on the game’s opening drive with a 60-yard reception to set up a two-yard touchdown by Ty Montgomery, but the rookie is still clearly learning the intricacies of playing receiver in the NFL. And while Valdes-Scantling has shown promise, he is unlikely to have a significant role after the Week 7 bye with Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) both expected to return.
10/15/18 - 11:53 PM ET
Emmanuel Sanders throws a touchdown and catches a touchdown in Broncos’ win.
It was a great night for the Broncos, and Sanders headlined things on offense in their blowout victory over the Cardinals. First, Sanders threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Courtland Sutton on a trick play, and then he caught a 64-yard touchdown by getting wide-open himself deep down the field on a busted coverage. Overall, Sanders was 1/1 for 28 yards and one passing touchdown with six receptions for 102 yards and one receiving touchdowns. Sanders continues his season-long streak of at least five catches in every game, and he’ll offer a solid floor next week against the Chiefs.
10/18/18 - 11:30 PM ET
Richie James doesn’t catch a pass in Week 6.
James was thought to have a chance to do some damage with Trent Taylor (back) out of the lineup, but he didn’t draw a target against the Packers. The Niners threw just 23 passes in the game, though. James is off the fantasy radar at the moment.
10/15/18 - 11:50 PM ET
Case Keenum throws one touchdown as the Broncos rout the Cardinals.
On a night Denver scored two defensive touchdowns, Keenum wasn’t asked to do too much while leading the offense, as the team ran the ball more than they threw it. Keenum was 14/21 for 161 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Week 7 victory. The touchdown was a 64-yard deep ball to a wide-open Emmanuel Sanders in a broken coverage, and the interception was on an ill-advised overthrown ball in the second half. Overall, it was a solid game for Keenum, who extended plays and made accurate throws. Next up Keenum faces the Chiefs, a team he had no touchdowns and one interception against in Week 4.
