Join now >Dalvin Cook (hamstring) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
Cook looked on track to return after getting in a full session yesterday, so hopefully this is just a rest day for the second-year back in order to avoid another setback. Of course, it’s entirely possible that Cook’s hamstring is simply acting up again, and fantasy owners shouldn’t pen him into lineups quite yet. We will get more clarity tomorrow when we see what Cook does in practice and how he’s listed on the injury report for Sunday’s game, but Latavius Murray would again be an RB2 option if he draws another start this weekend.

Aaron Jones handles eight carries in win over the 49ers.
Jones rushed a team-high eight times for 41 yards and failed to catch his only target. The second-year back continues to pace the Packers in attempts and yards, but it’s a full-blown three-way committee with Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery, which makes all three nothing more than shaky FLEX options in all formats. A couple potential shootouts against the Rams and Patriots when Green Bay returns from their Week 7 bye could give Jones more opportunities, but he looks highly unlikely to turn into a featured player at this point.

T.Y. Hilton (chest/hamstring) was limited in today’s practice.
This is a step backwards for Hilton from his full participation in yesterday’s practice, but the Colts might just be taking things slow to avoid a setback. We’ll see how Hilton is listed on the official injury report for the game when it’s released tomorrow.

Raheem Mostert plays great in Week 6.
With Matt Breida (ankle) at less than 100%, Mostert received more opportunities than usual, getting the nod over Alfred Morris (zero carries) in San Francisco’s backfield. Mostert carried 12 times for 87 yards, by far crushing his career-high in rushing yards in a game; entering tonight, Mostert had just 13 carries in his career. The 26-year-old ran the ball very well, showing good vision and hitting the hole with great acceleration and speed. Breida is clearly the top running back for the Niners when healthy, but Mostert looks to have secured a solid role in the team’s backfield mix. He’s worth a look as a pickup, particularly in deep leagues.

Darren Sproles (hamstring) remains out of practice.
It’s not looking good for the veteran running back, so don’t expect him to make a return this week. We’ll see what happens, but Sproles might be ruled out tomorrow.

Aaron Rodgers, Packers win defeat the 49ers, 33-30, on last-second field goal.
Rodgers was 25/46 for 425 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding three carries for 34 yards. After a back-and-forth opening quarter in which Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to Davante Adams from nine yards out, San Francisco mostly controlled the game and held a 30-23 lead with under two minutes to play. However, Green Bay’s offense took over, and they tied the game with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Adams before getting the ball back and Rodgers drove the team down for a game-winning 27-yard field goal as time expired. The Packers are now 3-2-1 heading into the bye, and it was a much needed home victory with games against the Rams and Patriots—both on the road—coming in Week 8 and Week 9. Rodgers is obviously an elite QB1.

The Bengals have released rookie receiver Auden Tate.
A seventh-round pick out of Florida State, the big-bodied receiver showed enough to stick around with Cincinnati out of camp, but a couple long receptions in the preseason weren’t enough to earn him an appearance in the regular season, and he’s now being released. Tate shouldn’t take long to resurface.
