Gronkowski was again quiet for much of the game against the Chiefs, but he got going late in the game with a couple of huge catches, including a 42-yarder in which he was wide-open off a play-action fake and threw a nasty stiff arm; and 39-yarder deep down the right sideline. It didn’t feel like a huge game, but Gronk ended up with three receptions for 97 yards in the 43-40 victory. Gronkowski is obviously an elite TE1 next week against the Bears.

Tyreek Hill explodes in the second half of 43-40 loss to the Patriots.
Hill caught seven passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns, all of which came in the final 20 or so minutes of the game. New England did an excellent job containing “Cheetah” for the most part, but he eventually got loose on more than one occasion, with the highlight being an unfair 75-yard touchdown down the left sideline that tied the game 40-40. Hill might be a little more volatile than last year with so many playmakers on Kansas City’s offense, but he remains a high-upside WR1/WR2 option for Week 7 against the Bengals—another SNF showing for Andy Reid’s club.

Kareem Hunt totals 185 yards in SNF loss to the Patriots.
Hunt rushed ten times for 80 yards, also adding five receptions for 105 yards and a score. The highlight was the touchdown, as it came on a 67-yard throw by Patrick Mahomes down the right sideline to get Kansas City going on their first drive of the second half. Hunt isn’t getting as many touches as he did last season when he led the league in rushing, but he’s still been great for fantasy owners with 80+ rushing yards in each of the past three games. He will look to make it four in a row when the Chiefs repeat on Sunday Night Football against the Bengals in Week 7.

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs fall in a thrilling shootout against the Patriots, 43-40.
Mahomes was 23/36 for 352 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions, also adding two carries for nine yards. The Chiefs were contained in the first half as they had to settle for three field goals and faced a 24-9 deficit at the break, but Mahomes led a second-half explosion with a score to Kareem Hunt (67 yards) and three to Tyreek Hill (14 yards, one yard, 75 yards). The final touchdown pass tied the game at 40-40, but Tom Brady unsurprisingly led a game-winning field goal drive. Overall, Kansas City should be very encouraged that they showed they can go toe-to-toe with Brady and Bill Belichick in Foxborough, and there’s probably a great chance of a rematch in January. Mahomes will be featured again on Sunday Night Football next week against the Bengals, so keep him in fantasy lineups as a high-end QB1.

Jonnu Smith catches lone target against Baltimore.
Smith’s reception went for 12 yards. Despite Dealing Walker’s season-ending leg injury, last year’s third-round pick hasn’t made a big impact as a receiver yet this season.
10/15/18 - 01:59 PM ET
Taywan Taylor catches one pass in Week 6.
Taylor caught an out route for 13 yards against the Ravens. The dynamic second-year receiver isn’t a recommended fantasy option right now.
10/15/18 - 01:57 PM ET
Corey Davis catches one pass in Week 6.
He wasn’t alone in his struggles, but Davis couldn’t get free against Baltimore’s corners. Davis’ lone reception went for 24 yards. The second-year receiver seemed to struggled at the top of routes, as he wasn’t getting out of the break to make the catch a couple of times. No one really played well on offense for the Titans, but the team needs Davis to step up more consistently after taking him with the fifth pick in last year’s draft. We’ll see if he can get it going next week against the Chargers.
