Join now >Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) is out for Week 7.
It’s not a great sign that Tannehill has been ruled out so early in the week, and he should be considered week-to-week at best for now. Brock Osweiler will again be under-center for the Dolphins as they take on the Lions this Sunday, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option despite throwing for 380 yards and three touchdowns (with two interceptions) in Miami’s overtime win against the Bears last week.

Josh Allen (elbow) is week-to-week, head coach Sean McDermott has announced.
Allen left Sunday’s loss to the Texans in the third quarter before Nathan Peterman took over for the remainder of the game, so it’s not a surprise considering it was an injury to Allen’s throwing arm and he couldn’t return to the game. Buffalo recently signed veteran Derek Anderson to mentor the rookie, and McDermott said that “all options will be on the table” at quarterback this week, suggesting Anderson could end up starting over Peterman if Allen is unable to go. This probably doesn’t impact Buffalo’s skill-position players much, but Kelvin Benjamin—who declined to run routes with the No. 7 overall pick before the game yesterday—could get a boost after spending with with Anderson in Carolina. Also, the Colts will be a top-end D/ST streamer for Week 7. Hopefully Allen can heal up and continue progressing after leading the Bills to a couple wins already in his young career.

The Bills are starting Derek Anderson at quarterback this week.
The 35-year-old quarterback just arrived with the Bills last week, but he’s getting the nod as the starter over second-year quarterback Nathan Peterman in Josh Allen’s absence. Anderson has thrown for over 10,000 yards in his career, and he has familiarity with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll; Buffalo believes he gives them the best chance to compete and win games. Anderson is not a recommended fantasy option with a subpar supporting cast.
10/17/18 - 11:38 AM ET
Julian Edelman scores in win over the Chiefs.
Edelman caught four passes for 54 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown grab in the first half. New England’s slot receiver didn’t get many opportunities over the final 30 minutes of the shootout victory, but it was a strong performance nonetheless. Look for Edelman to keep rolling as a high-floor WR2 in all formats as the Patriots travel to Chicago for Week 7.
10/15/18 - 02:08 PM ET
Leonard Fournette (hamstring) will try to practice tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be a big test to see if Fournette might be able to give it a go this Sunday against the Texans. So there should be more clarity on the situation after tomorrow’s practice, as there should be a better idea of the direction he’s trending ahead of the official injury report for the game being released on Friday.
10/17/18 - 10:59 AM ET
Kenjon Barner handles three touches in win over the Chiefs.
Barner rushed three times for 16 yards, but this is obviously a backfield that’s mostly split between Sony Michel and James White. The Oregon product is just a name to keep in mind in the case of an injury.
10/15/18 - 02:05 PM ET
T.J. Yeldon (foot/ankle) is not expected to practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, so this isn’t a big concern. Yeldon has been on the injury report and missed practices often this season, so there’s not much concern about his status for Sunday against the Texans.
