Join now >John Ross (groin) has been ruled out for this Sunday.
Ross was able to get in a limited practice session on Wednesday, but the groin is apparently still giving him issues. The second-year receiver was able to finish out last Sunday’s game with the injury, so hopefully it’s not too serious and he can get back out there for Week 6 against the Steelers.

Giovani Bernard (knee) has been ruled out for Week 5.
Bernard didn’t practice this week, so this isn’t a surprise. It’s unclear what type of knee injury Bernard is dealing with exactly, so consider him week-to-week for now. The good news for the Bengals is Joe Mixon returns after missing the last two games with his knee injury.

Joe Mixon is off the Week 5 injury report.
The second-year back will play this Sunday against the Dolphins after missing the last two games with a knee injury. Giovani Bernard (knee) has been ruled out ahead of the weekend, so Mixon is set to be an immediate workhorse with 20-25 touch potential for Week 5. You can lock the rising star into fantasy lineups as an RB1.

Texans head coach Bill O’Brien says D’Onta Foreman (Achilles) is “on track” to return in a few weeks.
Foreman is still recovery from a very severe torn Achilles suffered last November, and he’s currently on the PUP list, meaning he is eligible to return after six weeks. It sounds like Foreman has a chance to return in Week 7 for a big matchup against the Jaguars, but we’ll get more clarity on his status in the coming weeks. Foreman is not on the fantasy radar in standard leagues at the moment, as he’s missed so much time and Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue are likely to lead the backfield the rest of this season.

Randall Cobb (hamstring) will not play this week.
This is not a surprise, as Cobb has continued working with the rehab group throughout the week of practice. This means the rookie receivers for Green Bay must step up against the Lions, with Marquez Valdes-Scantling as the preferred fantasy option of the three. Consider Cobb week-to-week for now, and keep in mind that the Packers’ Week 6 game is a Monday nighter against the Niners.

Cordarrelle Patterson scores in win over the Colts.
Patterson caught two passes for 11 yards in the 38-24 victory, including a one-yard touchdown reception on the first drive of the game. Like Phillip Dorsett, Patterson has earned snaps even with Julian Edelman returning and Josh Gordon getting more acclimated with the offense, but he is a better real-life asset than fantasy option. The Patriots host the Chiefs in Week 6.

Phillip Dorsett caught three passes for 25 yards in Thursday night’s win over Indy.
Dorsett was facing his former team for the first time since being traded, and he brought in all three of his targets as he rotated behind Chris Hogan and Julian Edelman. The 2015 first-round pick earned playing time even with the receiving corps at full strength, but he is difficult to trust in any given week on a loaded offense. We’ll see if he can do some damage in a good spot against Kansas City in Week 6.
