Join now >Jaron Brown scores in Seahawks’ win.
Brown was targeted twice against the Cowboys, catching two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown. The score was on a 16-yard strike out a seam route, and it was Brown’s first as a Seahawk. Brown is a solid real-life contributor for Seattle, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.

The Colts cut Christine Michael, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Michael did not play yesterday against the Eagles, and this might have been a mutual parting of ways. The talented former second-round pick is likely to a chance with another team, but he’s way off the fantasy radar at the moment.

Nick Vannett catches four passes against Dallas.
Vannett was targeted five times in the Week 3 win, gaining 27 yards on his four receptions. Vannett is difficult to trust in fantasy lineups while splitting time at tight end, but he’s a good real-life contributor for the Seahawks.

The Cardinals have named Josh Rosen their starting quarterback.
Head coach Steve Wilks made the announcement today. Rosen, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, replaced Sam Bradford with less than five minutes to go in Sunday’s loss to the Bears, and he tossed an interception on his first career drive with a chance to win the game down 16-14. Had the Cardinals dropped out of contention, it was always expected that Rosen would eventually take over, but this is happening very early with Arizona looking like one of the worst teams in the league thanks to a sub-par offensive line, poor play-calling, and an underperforming defense. Rosen steps into a situation with a long leash and plenty of time to adjust for a team that no longer has expectations, but he is a downgrade to all major fantasy options for the Cardinals. That said, he gets a cupcake home matchup against Seattle’s secondary in Week 4, so the UCLA product could get off to a good start. As for Sam Bradford, he was clearly very unhappy with being benched on Sunday, and understandably so with a chance to win the game taken away; he now might be made a weekly inactive so Arizona can save money by going with Mike Glennon behind the rookie.

Malcolm Brown handles five touches in Week 3 win.
Brown rushed five times for 42 yards in a 35-23 victory over the Chargers, showing good burst as a change-of-pace option to Todd Gurley. He’s the clear handcuff to own ahead of rookie John Kelly.

Marvin Lewis has no update on the A.J. Green injury.
Green left yesterday’s game with a groin injury and his return was called probable, but he never returned. However, Green did say the injury wasn’t serious and that he was good, so hopefully it’s not too bad. We’ll monitor Green’s practice status throughout the week, and hopefully there’s some clarity on the situation for the first practice on Wednesday.

Todd Gurley totals 156 yards in win over the Chargers.
Gurley rushed 23 times for 105 yards and a score, also catching five passes for 51 yards in a 35-23 victory. The losing Los Angeles team actually did a nice job against the run for the most part, but it didn’t matter against Gurley in Sean McVay’s offense. The 24-year-old gets a tough matchup against the determined Vikings on Thursday night, but he’s obviously an every-week, high-end RB1.
