He also rushed once for 14 yards. Williams is still seeing significant playing time on an explosive offense, but he will be as volatile as ever with Mike Williams (two touchdowns against the Rams) stepping up. Consider Tyrell a desperation FLEX option for Week 4 against San Francisco.

Cordarrelle Patterson catches one pass in loss to Detroit.
It went for 12 yards. Patterson will likely continue to be involved offensively all year in some capacity, but he should be a better real-life threat than fantasy option with Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman soon entering the lineup.

Allen Hurns catches two passes in Week 3.
Hurns gained 22 yards on his two reception versus Seattle. Hurns has just four receptions through three games for Dallas, so he’s off the fantasy radar at the moment.

Chris Hogan held in check as Patriots fall to the Lions
Hogan caught three passes for 31 yards, with most of his production coming on a garbage-time reception for 16 yards. The Patriots were out of sync all night, and they will really benefit when Josh Gordon makes his team debut and Julian Edelman returns from suspension. Some think that will significantly hurt Hogan’s value, but we think he could benefit from operating as the team’s No. 3 receiver as he’s done in some huge playoff games over the past couple years. Next week in particular, Hogan could be in for a big afternoon if Gordon occupies top corner Xavien Howard.

Austin Ekeler handles seven touches in Week 3 loss.
Ekeler rushed four times for 47 yards and caught three passes for 24 yards. He also lost a fumble in a 35-23 defeat. Ekeler broke off a 32-yard run in the game, but putting the ball on the ground (which he also did as a rookie) could cause him to lose snaps. Still, he’s on the FLEX radar in 12-team leagues heading into a matchup with the 49ers next Sunday.

Rob Gronkowski, Patriots contained in loss to the Lions.
Gronk caught four passes for 51 yards in a 26-10 defeat. New England simply couldn’t get going offensively or get off the field defensively, and it led to a frustrating, low-volume attack. After two disappointing games in a row, Gronkowski should be in for a big correction against the 3-0 Dolphins next Sunday. Buy low if you can.

Deonte Thompson catches both targets against the Seahawks.
Thompson gained 23 yards on his two receptions for the Cowboys in their Week 3 loss. Thompson is also the primary kick returner, but he’s not a fantasy option outside of leagues that give bonuses for return yardage.
