Join now >The Redskins have released Breshad Perriman, according to multiple reports.
The former first-round pick just signed with the Redskins earlier this week. There’s certainly a chance Perriman could be brought back at some point, but other teams are likely to be interested too.

Jamaal Williams handles 19 touches in Week 2 tie.
Williams rushed 16 times for 59 yards, also adding three receptions for 12 yards. The Packers’ starter didn’t find much running room against Minnesota’s stout front, but he was the clear leader of the backfield ahead of Ty Montgomery (six touches). It will be interesting to see how his role changes with Aaron Jones returning from suspension, but Williams can probably be considered a low-end RB2/FLEX option against the Redskins next Sunday.

The Colts elevated Erik Swoope to the 53-man roster.
Jack Doyle is out tomorrow with a hip injury, so Swoope will help fill in during his absence. Swoope has shown a solid connection with Andrew Luck in the past, but he’s more of a real-life asset than a fantasy asset for Week 3.

Aaron Rodgers, Packers tie the rival Vikings in NFC North clash.
Rodgers was 30/42 for 281 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding three rushes for eight yards. From a mobility standpoint, Rodgers looked a lot better than he did in Green Bay’s comeback victory over the Bears, but the offense had to settle for field goals three times in the fourth quarter, which allowed Minnesota to stay in the game and eventually tie. Overall, there is definitely reason for fantasy owners to be optimistic about Rodgers’ chances of remaining a high-end QB1 as he fights through the knee injury, and he will be ranked as such for Week 3 against the Redskins.
9/17/18 - 11:57 AM ET
Doug Baldwin (knee) has been ruled out for Week 3.
As expected. Baldwin is week-to-week with his knee injury, and the Seahawks will rely on Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall as their top two receivers this weekend against the Cowboys.
9/21/18 - 06:07 PM ET
David Morgan caught two passes in Week 2 against the Packers.
They went for 19 yards in a 29-29 tie. Morgan isn’t a fantasy option behind Kyle Rudolph.
9/17/18 - 11:53 AM ET
Marquise Goodwin (quadricep) is officially questionable for Week 3.
Goodwin was able to practice on a limited basis all week, which indicates he has a decent chance of playing on Sunday. The Niners play at Kansas City in an early game, so Goodwin’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. San Francisco could certainly use him in what could be a shootout with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
