It was a solid game for Williams with the Chargers leading 28-6 at halftime. The veteran is a volatile option due to Mike Williams’ emergence and Melvin Gordon being heavily involved as a receiver, but he should continue to make plays with Philip Rivers throwing passes. That said, Williams should be avoided in Week 3 against the Rams.

Marquise Goodwin (quad) remains limited in practice.
Goodwin is dealing with a bad quad bruise, and we’d think he’d be able to give it a go this weekend against the Chiefs. However, he was ruled out for Week 2 above the weekend, so we’ll see if the same happens tomorrow.

Roosevelt Nix catches one pass in Week 2.
Nix’s lone reception went for 19 yards. Pittsburgh’s fullback is not a fantasy option.

Seth DeValve (hamstring) is officially inactive for tonight’s game.
DeValve also missed Week 2. Perhaps the mini bye after this Thursday night game will give DeValve enough time to heal for Week 4.

Vance McDonald catches three passes in 2018 debut.
McDonald gained 26 yards on his three receptions. He had the same amount of targets (five) as teammate Jesse James, but James turned his five targets into five receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown. McDonald probably isn’t going to take a clear lead role in Week 3 against the Bucs, so there might be better fantasy options out there at the moment.

Jarvis Landry (knee) is officially active for Week 3.
Even on a short week, it would have been a major surprise if Landry was inactive for tonight against the Jets. Landry will be a big part of the offense as he looks to help the Browns get their first win since 2016. Consider him a WR2 this week.

Chiefs limit Antonio Brown in Week 2.
Brown was targeted a whopping 17 times in a shootout with the Chiefs, and he caught nine passes, but he was only able to gain 67 yards in the loss. Brown’s frustration was evident, including when he seemed to voice displeasure with offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner on the sideline. AB could be in store for another heavily-targeted game on Monday night against the Bucs, but there’s a chance Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t worry too much about Brown’s unhappiness with JuJu Smith-Schuster and others playing so well.
