Most college football fans and football fans in general certainly know J.T. Barrett, as he was one of the best college football players in the nation over the last few years. Barrett set a numbers of records with the Buckeyes, as he is the Big Ten’s all-time leader in passing touchdowns, passing yardage, and total touchdowns responsible for. He was also First Team All-Big Ten three times (2014, 2016, and 2017) and was an integral member of the 2014 national championship team (the inaugural College Football Playoff), despite not being on the field for the postseason after suffering a season-ending leg injury in the Michigan game that year. Also, Barrett is the only three-time captain in Ohio State history, so he’s obviously a great leader and will bring a good leadership presence to a locker room. To start his NFL career, Barrett will look to carve out a role as the third quarterback behind Andrew Luck and Jacoby Brissett in Indianapolis.

The Browns have selected Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway with the 105th pick (fourth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
This is a bit of a surprise. Antonio Callaway has first-round talent, but many thought he might not even be drafted after it was revealed he failed a drug test at the Combine, which only added to the list of off-field issues for the troubled wideout. However, if he can stay on the field, Callaway will likely be an absolute steal for a young and talented Browns roster that could compete quicker than people think. He probably won’t make a big impact behind Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry as a rookie, but Callaway is an interesting pick in dynasty league if you think you can trust him. The Browns clearly do.

The Eagles have re-signed running back Darren Sproles.
All indications have been that Sproles, who suffered a torn ACL early last season, was going to be back in 2018 despite the intention of retiring after 2017, and now it’s official. Sproles will join a crowded Eagles backfield that includes Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement, but the veteran running back will likely have a decent role on offense. Sproles might also be the primary punt returner for the Eagles. Because the Eagles should again have one of the league’s best offenses, Sproles might be a decent fantasy option in deeper leagues. However, Corey Clement did an exceptional job as a receiver out of the backfield for the team last season and might take much of the work Sproles otherwise might have gotten.

The Colts have drafted NC State running back Nyheim Hines with the 104th pick (fourth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
This could be an absolute steal for Indianapolis, as we’ve compared Hines to Tyreek Hill if he were to be a full-time running back. The former track star ran a 4.38 at the Combine as has underrated power in a five-foot-eight frame. He will immediately compete with Marlon Mack for snaps in Frank Reich’s offense, and fantasy owners should target him as a late-round flier in fantasy drafts over the summer.

The Redskins have selected SMU wide receiver Trey Quinn with the 256th pick (seventh round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
This year’s “Mr. Irrelevant” is a smooth receiver that can play inside and outside, but it took him until his senior year to be a big-time contributor for the Mustangs, and there are concerns about his overall athleticism at the next level. He is unlikely to make a fantasy impact if he earns a roster spot this summer.

The Texans have selected Texas Tech wide receiver Keke Coutee with the 103rd pick (fourth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Coutee profiles as a speedy slot receiver that put up big numbers last year at Texas Tech (93 receptions for 1,429 yards and 10 touchdowns), but he also has the ability to play outside. If he reaches his potential, Houston will have a fast, dynamic receiving core for Deshaun Watson with DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Coutee. It’s unlikely the rookie will be worth drafting in redraft leagues this summer, but he’s someone to keep an eye on as a handcuff to Will Fuller.

The Bills have selected North Carolina wide receiver Austin Proehl with the 255th pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Buffalo has basically a wide-open depth chart at wide receiver behind Kelvin Benjamin, so Proehl—the son of former NFL wideout Ricky Proehl—has a chance to make the roster and see some playing time in 2018. He profiles as a slot receiver and could compete with sixth-round pick Ray-Ray McCloud.
