Ellington hasn’t been a fantasy option since Will Fuller made his season debut, and he is even less likely to have a nice game with Deshaun Watson out of the lineup. He can stay on the waiver wire.

Thomas Rawls gets 11 touches against the Redskins.
Eddie Lacy was supposed to carry the load in the backfield for Seattle, but he exited the game early with a groin injury and did not return. Rawls carried nine times for 39 yards while adding two receptions for 31 yards in the Week 9 loss. If Lacy is forced to miss more time (and keep in mind, the Seahawks play on Thursday night for Week 10), Rawls would likely be the clear started with potential for 15-20 carries. However, it’s also worth keeping in mind that second-year back C.J. Prosise could be back from his ankle injury. The talented Rawls is certainly worth a pickup as a high-upside guy down the stretch.

Will Fuller falls back to earth in first game without Deshaun Watson.
Fuller caught two passes for 32 yards in a 20-14 loss to the Colts. He also continued to operate as the team’s punt returner, but that obviously won’t make up for the value he lost when his starting quarterback went down for the season. After looking like a high-upside WR2 with Watson in the lineup, Fuller is now just a risky FLEX play. He gets the Rams next week.

Troy Niklas catches one pass in win over the 49ers.
It went for 16 yards. Niklas isn’t a fantasy option, especially with Carson Palmer out of the lineup.

Josh Malone catches one pass in Week 9.
Malone was targeted four times in the game, but the rookie receiver hauled in only one pass for 13 yards against the Jags. He’s a very intriguing dynasty league prospect, but Malone isn’t yet a fantasy option in 2017.

Alex Smith throws first interception of the season in 28-17 loss to the Cowboys.
Smith was 25/34 for 263 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed five times for 19 yards. The interception came with Kansas City down two scores and trying to come back in the fourth quarter, and they are now 6-3 after a 5-0 start. Things should pick back up after the bye week when they take on the falling-apart Giants.

Brandon Lafell gets two targets in Week 9.
Lafell caught both targets, gaining 28 yards versus the Jaguars. In Week 10, Lafell would likely get a bump if A.J. Green is suspended for basically beating up Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, so we’ll see if anything happen regarding that.
