Tyrod Taylor | Jets QB

Tyrod Taylor puts up big numbers at end of Bills’ Thursday night loss.

Taylor took a beating from the Jets, getting pressured form the beginning and getting sacked seven times in the game. Buffalo had only seven points through three quarters, but down big in the fourth Taylor went to work and ended up getting some big fantasy points. Overall, he was 29/40 for 285 yards and two touchdowns while also adding six carries for 35 yards and a touchdown—and he did lose a fumble on a strip sack. His first passing score was on a strike to the end zone to rookie receiver Zay Jones in the second quarter, and his second was on a 26-yard deep throw to Deonte Thompson in the fourth quarter. The rushing score came on a quarterback sneak. Overall, Taylor played fine but the run game couldn’t get going and the defense did not play well, so it wasn’t an ideal situation for Buffalo to get a win. In Week 10, Taylor gets a Saints defense that’s been playing well, but he remains one of the best streaming options out there.

Frank Gore | Retired RB

Frank Gore handles 20 touches in win over the Texans.

Gore rushed 17 times for 51 yards and caught three passes for 26 yards. The veteran out-carried Marlon Mack 17 to nine, and the rookie was surprisingly held without a reception on Sunday. Fantasy owners might be excited for Mack to get a larger workload, but Chuck Pagano is going to give Gore touches as he tries to win as many games as he can to potentially prove he should coach beyond this season. Gore is still just a decent FLEX play against the Steelers in Week 10.

C.J. Prosise | Buccaneers RB

C.J. Prosise (ankle) was limited in practice today.

Prosise will likely be limited again tomorrow before being listed as questionable (or maybe doubtful) for Sunday against the Redskins. We’ll see for sure tomorrow when the official injury report for the game is released.

Matt Ryan | Free Agent QB

Matt Ryan throws two touchdowns but the Falcons fall to 4-4.

Atlanta started out hot, scoring ten first-quarter points against the Panthers, but their next score didn’t come until the fourth quarter. Overall, Ryan was 24/38 for 313 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, and it could’ve been a bigger day, but Julio Jones uncharacteristically dropped a perfect 39-yard deep ball in the end zone late in the game. Through eight games, the 2016 NFL MVP is completing 65.% of his passes and is on pace for 4,314 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. There’s obviously been some adjusting to new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, despite them wanting to keep things pretty much the same after their scorching 2016 season. The Falcons will look to bounce back against the Cowboys next week.

11/6/17 - 01:12 PM ET

Zay Jones | Cardinals WR

Zay Jones returns to Thursday night game.

It was indeed a hyperextended knee for Jones, so he’s back in there to start the second half. The rookie will look to continue making some big plays for Tyrod Taylor, as the Bills are down by three points.

11/2/17 - 10:08 PM ET

Jay Ajayi | Free Agent RB

Jay Ajayi breaks long touchdown in first game with the Eagles.

Things couldn’t have gone much better for Ajayi in his first game with Philadelphia, as he received eight carries with a limited playbook, gaining 77 yards with the touchdown. The score was on a 46-yarder where he basically read the blocks perfectly and easily raced to the end zone before diving for the pylon. With the Eagles entering their Week 10 bye, Ajayi should have a better grasp of the playbook in the next game—and he should get a bigger workload. Ajayi should be a great RB1 moving forward.

11/6/17 - 11:13 AM ET

Zay Jones | Cardinals WR

Zay Jones leaves game with apparent knee injury.

Jones was running a route late in the second quarter and appeared to hyperextend his right knee pretty badly. He appears to be pretty emotional, and he might know it’s a bad injury; but hopefully it’s just a hyperextension that looks bad. However, it doesn’t look like the rookie receiver will be back in tonight’s game. He caught all four targets for 40 yards and a touchdown before leaving, with the score coming on an in-breaking route in the end zone.
