Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Marcus Mariota was full participant in practice today.

After getting out of Monday night’s game without a setback, Mariota’s hamstring is making some big-time progress. He’s not in any doubt for Sunday versus the Browns, and he might be a lot closer to 100% and able to move around more than he did in Week 6. Mariota has elite upside against Cleveland and should be in fantasy lineups.

Brandon Coleman | Free Agent WR

Brandon Coleman runs for long reception in Week 8.

Coleman was targeted once in the game, but he made the most of it, catching a short pass in the flat and breaking a tackle before taking it up the sideline for 54 yards. It was the big receiver’s longest reception of his career, as he galloped down the field and picked up a lot of ground with his huge strides. Drew Brees really seems to like Coleman, and he might be a top three receiver for the team along with Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn Jr. But he doesn’t get enough work to be a reliable fantasy option yet.

10/30/17 - 11:40 AM ET

Jack Doyle | Retired TE

Jack Doyle leads Colts in Week 7 receiving.

Doyle caught six of seven targets for 44 yards against the Jaguars, working as a reliable guy underneath while Jacoby Brissett was under constant pressure. The Colts face the Bengals in Week 8, but Doyle is not an advisable fantasy option against a team that’s been stout against opposing tight ends this season.

10/23/17 - 01:22 PM ET

DeAndre Hopkins | Ravens WR

DeAndre Hopkins was not at practice today.

We were waiting to see if Hopkins would be listed on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, but Texans head coach Bill O’Brien said he was taking a personal day. Not to speculate too much, but it might have had something to do with Texans owner Bob McNair’s comments about not letting “the inmates run the prison” when it comes to kneeling during the National Anthem. Though McNair’s comments were probably unnecessary, it was a figure of speech—that said, there are a lot of people outraged at the comments. We would expect Hopkins to be out there and ready to play on Sunday, but this situation is something to watch over the weekend. The Texans don’t play until the late-afternoon games, but we should know if Hopkins will be playing or not by Sunday morning.

10/27/17 - 02:31 PM ET

Mike Wallace | Free Agent WR

Mike Wallace (back) is active against the Ravens.

Wallace was on the injury report with a back injury, but he’s ready to go versus Baltimore. With Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) and Breshad Perriman (concussion) both out, he could get a lot of targets from Joe Flacco. However, elite corner Xavier Rhodes could be on Wallace for much of the game, so he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option.

10/22/17 - 11:34 AM ET

Russell Shepard | Retired WR

Russell Shepard catches one pass in Week 8 win.

It went for 14 yards. Shepard was in a good spot against a banged-up secondary, but the overall offensive struggles for Carolina held the receivers back. He’s not a fantasy option against the Falcons next Sunday.

10/30/17 - 11:38 AM ET

Thomas Rawls | Free Agent RB

Thomas Rawls leads Seahawks in rushing in Week 7.

Rawls carried 11 times for 36 yards and added a 16-yard reception in a win over the Giants—but he did fumble. Again, the backfield work was split 50/50 between Rawls and Eddie Lacy, and neither did much to separate themselves in this one. It was a big positive to see Seattle go right back to Rawls after he lost a fumble, though, and he ran with a lot of energy throughout the game (as usual). Rawls is a FLEX candidate in Week 7, though you’ll ideally find someone that’s not in a 50/50 RBBC to insert into your lineup.
