Brett Hundley threw for just 87 yards, as Aaron Rodgers was clearly missed. Cobb should still be rostered based on talent, but he should stay on the bench until we see Hundley have success going to him. Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams are better bets to turn things around after Green Bay’s bye week.

DeVante Parker (ankle) wanted to play last night.
Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said Parker was intent on playing in the Thursday night loss to the Ravens, but Gase held him out. Because the team doesn’t have a bye week after it was moved to Week 1, Gase and the team probably wanted their top receiver to be 100% before returning, and they took this Thursday game as an opportunity to get Parker to 100% after the mini bye. After missing three games while dealing what was likely a high-ankle sprain, Parker will be ready to go in Week 9 against Oakland and can immediately be inserted into fantasy lineups for that matchup.

Jordan Matthews (thumb) is active for Week 7.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapopoort reported Matthews was expected to be active, and now it’s official. This is a boost for Tyrod Taylor against a vulnerable Buccaneers secondary, and Matthews has a chance to put up FLEX value.

Coby Fleener gets one target in Week 8.
Fleener caught his lone target, but it went for -1 yards. The Saints aren’t utilizing their tight ends much right now, and Fleener doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters.

Eddie Lacy gets 11 carries in Week 7.
Lacy gained 34 yards on his 11 carries while also adding a nine-yard reception. Lacy’s stats were almost identical to Thomas Rawls’ (11 carries for 36 yards, one reception for 16 yards), and this looks like it’ll be a 50/50 split moving forward—though someone might separate themselves with a huge breakout game. Lacy is a FLEX candidate with a low floor in Week 8 against Houston.

Melvin Gordon (foot) is questionable for Sunday against New England.
Gordon has battled through injuries all this season and, despite not practicing fully this week, should be ready to go on Sunday. The Chargers do play in the early games this week as they face the Patriots in Foxborough, so his status will be locked in by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday when actives and inactives come out. It’d be a big surprise if Gordon wasn’t ready, but be sure to check in on Sunday morning for his status.

The Ravens signed WR Griff Whalen.
Whalen was with the team during training camp, and now he’s back. With Jeremy Maclin dealing with a shoulder injury, it’s possible Whalen is active this week in his first game back with the team. He’s not a recommended fantasy option, though.
