Elijah McGuire sees one touch in Week 8 loss.

It was a two-yard carry. The seventh-round rookie isn’t a fantasy option with Bilal Powell and Matt Forte healthy, but he could become relevant if the Jets fall out of contention and play younger guys later in the season. Still, he’s not worth rostering outside of dynasty leagues at this point.

Blake Bortles plays well in Jaguars’ win over Indy.

Without star rookie running back Leonard Fournette, the Jaguars still picked up a convincing shutout win against the Colts. Bortles was 18/26 for 330 yards and a touchdown, but he did lose a fumble in the game. Overall, this was close to the London game against Baltimore in terms of the best game so far for Bortles this season. The touchdown came on a nice touch throw on a fade route to Marcedes Lewis by the goal line, and the Jaguars were able to also pick up some chunk plays through the air all day. Fantasy owners that took the risk and played Bortles in a good matchup are probably happy with the performance. The Jaguars have a bye next week and should get Fournette back for Week 9 against the Bengals.

Trent Taylor caught five passes for 39 yards in Sunday’s loss to Dallas.

He also lost a fumble. The rookie slot receiver can stay on the waiver wire heading into next Sunday’s matchup with the Eagles.

Breshad Perriman (concussion) is has been ruled out for Week 7.

He’s not out of concussion protocol and they are just leaving him home before they leave for the trip to Minnesota. The Ravens have a quick turnaround and play the Dolphins next Thursday, so it’s no lock Perriman is ready for that game either.

Taylor Gabriel has another quiet day in Falcons’ win.

Gabriel caught one pass for negative-three yards. Besides a Week 3 game where he caught five passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, “Turbo” hasn’t been able to do much this season. He’s not a fantasy option against Carolina next week.

Willie Snead (hamstring) was a full participant in today’s practice.

Snead is set to return after missing Sunday against the Packers. He’s not yet a great fantasy option in his second game of the season, but Snead is worth a bench stash in a high-powered Saints offense.

Cooper Rush sees first career NFL action in blowout win.

Rush completed 1/2 passes for two yards and rushed twice for 13 yards. Congrats to Dak Prescott’s undrafted rookie backup for making an appearance in a regular season game.
