Join now >Robert Turbin (dislocated elbow) is expected to be placed on IR, according to Ian Rapoport.
As Rapoport notes, this will likely mean more of electric rookie Marlon Mack in the lineup behind Frank Gore. It does also mean Gore will likely get most of the short yardage carries now, something that Turbin had taken a lot of dating back to last season. Turbin’s injury is a shame, and we hope he’s back healthy and out there running hard again late in the season or in 2018.

Demarcus Robinson caught one pass in Sunday’s loss.
It went for 16 yards. Robinson is replacing Chris Conley in Andy Reid’s offense, but he didn’t do much against a tough Pittsburg defense. He has a much better matchup against Oakland on Thursday night, but he’s no more than a desperation play.

Demaryius Thomas has his best game of the season in Broncos’ loss on Sunday Night Football.
Thomas caught a season-high 10 passes for 133 yards, as he was able to turn top cornerback Janoris Jenkins around a handful of times for chunk yardage. He also was given some chances to make plays deep, in contested coverage, which he was able to do. DT briefly left the game with a lower-leg injury, but he battled through it with the game all but over, which bodes well for his Week 7 status. Thomas did lose a fumble, and he’s yet to score in 2017, but fantasy owners can’t complain. With Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) not looking good for next week, Thomas should get a lot of targets and will be at least a high-end WR2 against Casey Hayward.

Jamaal Charles rushed five times for 19 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Giants.
Charles actually led the team in rushing on a night that Denver basically abandoned the run, as C.J. Anderson rushed nine times for just 17 yards. Charles also caught a two-yard pass, but his value has been negatively impacted by Devontae Booker’s return, as Booker seems to be the preferred receiving back for the Broncos. We’d expect Charles to be better against the Chargers next Sunday, but he’s no more than a desperation FLEX option.

Jared Cook gets three targets against the Chargers.
He caught two passes for 14 yards in the Raiders’ loss. There could be some opportunities down the field for Cook against the Chiefs on Thursday night, but there might be better TE options out there.

Josh McCown plays well again but throws crucial interception in Week 7 loss.
McCown was 17/27 for 209 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, which was a bad decision with the game tied at 28 deep in their own territory. It led to the game-winning field goal for Miami. Fantasy wise, though, McCown was great, as he also rushed a score on a quarterback sneak. The Jets will take on the struggling Falcons next Sunday, but Atlanta’s recent offensive play makes McCown have lower upside as a streamer.

C.J. Prosise leaves Seahawks’ game with ankle injury.
Unless it’s the other ankle, Prosise is again having issues with the same one and it forced him out very early in the game. He’s officially questionable to return, but it’d be a surprise if he returned to the game. Prosise didn’t have any touches before leaving.
