Join now >Wendell Smallwood (knee) did not practice today.
Smallwood didn’t practice all week, and he’s missed the first two days of practice this week ahead of Thursday’s game against Carolina. Perhaps he can get out there for the light practice tomorrow and play in the game, but don’t count on it.

Braxton Miller scores in Week 6 win.
Miller caught two passes for negative-five yards, including a one-yard score in the second quarter. It was his first touchdown of the season. The former Ohio State quarterback is on pace for about the same numbers that he put up as a rookie. He’s not a fantasy option.

The Cardinals released running back Chris Johnson.
The team just traded for Adrian Peterson this morning, so CJ was released to make room for AD. The former 2,000-yard rusher won’t share the backfield with fellow former 2,000-yard rusher Peterson, and there’s a chance this is it for Johnson’s NFL career.

Stephen Anderson caught two passes for 17 yards in Sunday’s win over the Browns.
Anderson isn’t a fantasy option with Ryan Griffin healthy. The Texans take on the Seahawks in Seattle next Sunday.

The Saints have traded RB Adrian Peterson to the Cardinals, according to Dianna Russini.
Woah. There was definitely some thought that Peterson would be traded at some point, but it’s still uncommon to see trades of big-name players like this during the season. With David Johnson still out until at least Thanksgiving, the 2-3 Cardinals made a big move for the future Hall of Fame running back to bolster their league-worst rushing attack. There are obviously major concerns with the offensive line of the Cardinals, but Peterson does offer some upside as a guy that could get 15+ carries per game for them, including goal line touches. If AD was dropped in your league, he’s worth picking up as a high-upside player. If Chris Johnson remains on the team, it’d be the top two fantasy players from 2009/2010 in the same backfield which is pretty cool.

Ryan Grant gets five targets in Week 6.
Grant caught three passes for 39 yards against the 49ers. He’s an obvious contributor to the Redskins, but Grant is difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

The Ravens signed RB Bobby Rainey.
Rainey was with the Ravens during the preseason, and he’s back after Terrance West’s calf injury. This almost certainly means West will be out this weekend against the Bears. Rainey could get some work in the game versus Chicago, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.
