Tom Brady has a left shoulder injury, according to Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says Brady is believed to have an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, which of course is his non-throwing shoulder. Brady, as he has most of the season, took a lot of hits on Thursday night against Tampa Bay, and he did land on his left side at least once in the game. Despite his pro-actviness with the TB12 Method to avoid a lot of injuries, there’s not much you can on certain hits. Brady is expected to be ready for Sunday against the Jets, but he might be limited in practice all week. He’ll still be an elite QB1.

Latavius Murray gets another start, handles 16 touches in win.

Murray rushed 15 times for just 28 yards, and he also caught a nine-yard pass. Minnesota is trying to get Latavius going, but Jerick McKinnon is outplaying him right now, as he turned 21 touches into 99 yards and two scores on Sunday. Murray had a couple nice runs against Green Bay, but McKinnon’s juice allows him to get to the perimeter. Also, Murray failed to convert a goal-line score that McKinnon did two plays later. Still, Murray remains a hold in fantasy leagues and is worthing looking at as a FLEX option against the Ravens next week, as he should get better as the season progresses.

Josh Doctson scored in Week 6.

Doctson was targeted three times against the 49ers, catching one pass for an 11-yard touchdown on a slant route. The second-year receiver’s role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy option, but he’s showing his ability to score touchdowns and is someone worth keeping an eye on.

Devin Funchess (knee) did not practice today.

It’s two straight missed practices for Funchess, so it’s a bit of a concern heading into Thursday’s matchup against the Eagles. But Panthers head coach Ron Rivera did not sound too concerned and said he should be fine for the game. We’ll see if he’s able to practice tomorrow.

Terrelle Pryor catches three passes in Week 6.

Pryor was targeted five times, gaining 23 yards on his three receptions. The free agent acquisition obviously hasn’t been what those that selected him in the first few rounds of fantasy drafts expected, and we would guess he doesn’t deliver WR2 value down the stretch this season either. Pryor does have a good matchup versus the Eagles in Week 7, though.

Kyle Shanahan says Hyde remains the team’s number one running back.

Shanahan said yesterday things can change depending on the defense, etc. “but I definitely see Hyde as our first guy and Breida spelling him Raheem after that.” Breida, of course, is rookie Matt Breida, who received more carries against the Colts. And Raheem is Raheem Mostert, the third back that has good ability too. Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee points out late in the third Hyde dropped a pitch for a loss, then he appeared to not pick up the blitzer which led to a sack—that was at the start of the third quarter, and Hyde didn’t get another carry until two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Hopefully this was just a one time benching and Hyde continues playing like he did from Weeks 1-4. Hyde is more of an RB2 this week, but you can insert him into your fantasy lineup versus the Redskins.

Jordan Reed catches four passes against the Niners.

Reed was targeted five times, gaining 37 yards on his four receptions. Vernon Davis has been playing better than Reed, who isn’t 100% right now. Reed faces the Eagles on Monday night in Week 7.
